So that is the final score? No scores second half?

That is the final score, MC had the only score after halftime.

Nice win for Lincoln County.

Lincoln didn't bring its A game on offense, but they got the job done when it mattered, nice playoff win for the pats...

Great win for the Patriots. They did not score in the second half but held the ball for most of the half. Opening kickoff of the second half, Lincoln held the the ball the first 8 minutes of the quarter and the last 9 minutes of the

4th quarter to end the game. They did not score but they kept the ball out of Madison Centrals hands. Great Win!!! Now it is time to get ready for next week. Round 2 coming up.

A similar game to last week, Lincoln just didn't bust the big plays after the first 3 drives. Calhoun and Miller had good games, but it was Lincoln's QB that had a great game tonight. He had a TD run, threw for a TD, and picked up many 3rd downs with his running.

Madison Central came out flat once again, and was down 21-0 quick. MC's offense sputtered for most of the game. There were 4 first downs called back by penalty. Solid game by MC's offensive line, the backs had holes and Hope had all day to throw, but the skill players just weren't making enough plays.

The score was 21-0 in the 3rd when MC had a 50+ yard run but didn't score on the drive. They scored their next possession but Lincoln ultimately ran out the clock. Lincoln probably controlled the ball for 35 minutes.

These MC seniors have had a great 4 years: 2 regional runner ups, 3 district titles, a 35-12 record while helping to build a program that has been on the rise since the mid 90's. The expectations going into this season were modest at best, losing 26 seniors last year. All of these guys are going to be missed since they were big contributors for the past few years. MC was young this year and returns a lot of talent.

Good luck to Lincoln the rest of the way, looks as if Henry Clay will be rolling into Stanford in 2 weeks. MC was just beaten by the better team, no excuses.

Do you know how many seniors central will graduate this year

Do you know how many seniors central will graduate this year

Madison Central will lose:

3 offensive lineman. All three were 2 year starters.

3 defensive lineman. Two were 2 year starters, the other a 1 year starter.

1 LB. 2 year starter.

2 WR/DB. Both were 1 year starters.

Also a couple reserve lineman and their kicker.

MC had a very good sophmore class this year. MC should have a very good year next season.

Lincoln Co. you did a fine job tonight to get the win, now it's on to round 2 of the playoffs. Good luck.

Good win for LC tonight. I was a little suprised with the lack of fans that came with MC.

Miller rushed for 108 1TD

Calhoun 86 yrds 1TD

Rogers 74 yards rushing 1 passing TD to Young for about 50 give or take a few yards

Edwards 38 (backup QB)

Lincoln had 315 rushing yards tonight you wouldn't have thought it by watching the game but the yards were a little more dispersed, Lincoln had two possesions in the second half in which they held the ball for 20 minutes not scoring on either drive.
