I hope the players have this same attitude!! That's what allows teams to pull upsets. Newport's "D" will be ready and the "O" is developing a power running game. BEWARE!!!!

Coach Jaggers will not let them have that attitude. That's why they will be tough to beat. But, Newport isn't going to be intimidated whatsoever. I will predict later.

this one should be worse then the first one.....mercer is looking better then they have all year. with sunshine back and the line is blowin people off the line, they are lookin they way i thouhg tthey should..

Cautiously optimistic, Mercer wins - afraid to post predicted score.:confused: I think this will be a different game vs. Newport. I am glad it is at home, weather conditions should be better and I encourage ALL Mercer Countians to come out to the game and support their home team. We need strong fan support!

I would look for around the same also. Some of the people in this thread are absolutely off their rockers tho and need to get a clue.
