Southwestern At Boyle Co.

Big district game. Both teams seem to be struggleing a little this year.. SW started the season playing well but have not looked good the last two games.. Boyle has been improving each week against a tuff schedule.. Both teams have had an extra week to prepare.. Should be a great game.. Who wins???

SW is catching Boyle at a really bad time. Tough schedule, people writing them off, plus first home game with an overflow crowd that brings out the emotions of the Rebels. Southwestern has a hard time defending the pass.

I think it will be a big ol' can.

Boyle 45

SW 14

Boyle County - 41

Southwestern - 28

Not that I have anything against SW but if Boyle County wins this one....RebelK will be a very happy woman;)

Southwestern can't stop the pass......at all......not even a little bit. Boyle Co. 35, Southwestern 12.

Its Southwestern's year. They played Danville a pretty good game. Boyle is still a good team but a little down. Southwestern takes advantage of the situation becasue it doesn't come around often.

Are you taking Southwestern in this one?

So if SW played Danville a "pretty good game" and Boyle played them a "really good game" how do you pick SW for this game?

This has the makings of another close game. Hopefully the Rebels will come out and have an awesome game. Both teams really need this one bad, Boyle Co more so than Southwestern. Does anyone know how the injury report looks for the Rebels? Will Grant Tamme and Cole Stevens be playing this week? If so, I will say:

Boyle 35

PSW 20

If that's the case, how did they beat the pass happy Somerset team?

Somerset can't tackle anyone. Southwestern outscored them 34-28 by running for 300 yards. Even though Somerset lost they still threw for 270 some yards and 4 touchdowns. I have to think that even at 1-4 Boyle Co. is stronger all-around than Somerset. If I'm not mistaken Somerset had negative rushing yards against SW also. The most telling stat about SW's pass defense is the fact that Danville threw for over 250 yards and 4 scores on only 9 completions. They also gave up 6 passing touchdowns to South Laurel.

If that's the case, how did they beat the pass happy Somerset team?

How did SW lose to pass happy South Laurel? They couldn't stop the pass. South Laurel can't stop anybody right now. So how does SW get thumped by SL? This is Boyle's game to lose.
