They could. But, they wont. Mercer doesn't run the score up on teams. If they get up big the starters come out.

Still yet they are putting up any where from 40-60+ allmost every game arent they? That is alot of points. The JV and freshmen teams must be good too.

The talent pool is deep in the middle school. They have nothing to worry about there. Unreal numbers. Mercer will reload next year. But, their are a few teams that are putting up some big numbers every week. Mercer could have scored in the 80's a couple of times this year. But, Coach Jaggers is a class act. He knows most of the teams have been outmatched other then Boyle Co.

Highlands in 1998 scored 801 points with J-Lo at qb......That is the record for most points in a season...:ylsuper:The record for most points in a game was Male in 1913 with 149 points..

If they did thats about 54 points a game. It is a beatable record, with the kind of numbers mercoer is putting up. Classy or not. Its hard to tell you JV and freshman teams to go out and not score. Who knows it might happen.

That was with the starters playing about 1/2 of the game also....PRETTY IMPRESSIVE.....

No. Most coaches will not run the score up just for records. The answer is still no whatever reason you choose to use.
