Most Points.............

No. Most coaches will not run the score up just for records. The answer is still no whatever reason you choose to use.

Ok then. You are entitled to your opinion. Can't argue that. But, for the record they could already be halfway there if they wanted to be. Even with a running clock in almost every game so far they still could have put up 80 on 4 of the 5 previous opponents. 5 games left in the regular season and I see one tough game with Newport. They will name the score on the rest of the district. When you have two backs who will rush for 1,500 plus barring injury you will put up points quickly.

Mercer Co. would have to Average 55 points for the next ten games...Highlands record looks safe I think.:sssh:

I'm not looking for an argument on this. Russell could have scored 100 on Powell County and Morgan Co the last couple of weeks. Belfry could do the same to many of their district opponents. Mercer, I'm sure could beat quite a few teams as bad as they want. Highlands, the year they set the record could have scored alot more. It really means nothing. I mearly said "no". There is no reason to justify it.

Oh no I'm not looking to argue. I agree with what you are saying. And you are right about Russell and Highlands. I'm just saying they could threaten that record if they wanted just like alot of teams this year. But, that's not the kind of record you go after.
