  1. But what's said in a locker room is always told to mommy's and daddy's. This is merely the coaches fault. Don't say something in a locker room if you don't want it repeated. Those "mommy's and daddy's" will tell others what's said, trust. This "manhood" thing is just weird.
  2. No, but Powell did beat them by 14. Cumberland beat a good Letcher central team by 9.
  3. Who else from the 14th has beat Cumberland this year?
  4. Calm down! It's true though alot of good teams in the Kentucky this year.
  5. Congratulations to Bart Rison. He's not only a great coach, but a great person. It's nice to see good people get rewarded. Good luck with the rest of the season.
  6. I will say one thing. If JBS doesnt start playing like a team, they can kiss they're 14th region championship good bye. Tate Cox might as well be sitting if he's only going to get 5 or 6 shots a game. When it was Cox, Garrison, and big Stepp JBS was rolling. Now that its primarily Clark and Clint JBS has lost 2 games and have played close to some teams that IMO they would've blown out in the beginning of the season. JMHO.
  7. I see an upset in this game. Lee is a great team and a contender for the 14th, but it's hard to play in Irvine, especially when the stakes are as high as they are. I'll take Estill by 3. Berryman, Christopher and Napier will be ready.
  8. I have to take Powell in this one. Powell - 95 Owsley - 65
  9. Kris Adams' 2 - hand throwdown Alley-oop vs. Louisville Iroquois.
  10. Just throwing it out there. Like everyone says the region is wide open. I'm going by strength of team and matchup. I know the thread says as of now, but thats where i see Powell as of now, sorry if no one agrees. JMHO.
  11. 1.Hazard 2.JBS 3.Powell 4.PCC 5.Breathitt 6.Lee Co. 7.Buckhorn 8.Knott Central 9.Cordia 10.LCC
  12. Poor #15 "posterized". Sorry 15. You got dunked on!
  13. What are everyone's thoughts?! I know Powell has one of the best pitchers in the region, Corey Brewer, not to mention one of the best hitters, hitting somewhere around .400 last season. Could end up the best in the 14th (all-around)IMO. Powell also has Benningfield who has a rocket for an arm. Watch out for Powell, could be a repeat.
  14. If you make a good hit, obviously a 40 doesnt matter, plus isnt it 90 feet to first. Stealing a base requires a pretty quick sprinter and i'd say a time of around 4-5 seconds for a forty is pretty good, IMO.
  15. Wow..I can't makeup my mind on which way the region will go, especially not now. JBS better get it together, or it looks like their thoughts of winning the regional tourney may be demolished. The regional tourney will be wild this year, everyone has beaten eachother, but i still like Hazard, Powell, Lee, Breathitt or JBS.
  16. Good win for Letcher Central. Was it much help that it was at Letcher? Or did Breathitt play bad? Or is Letcher Central better than they are cut out to be? The Region does seem to still be Wide Open. I still see about 6 teams that could win it. It's really a toss up.
  17. A draw is a draw, persay that they actually "draw". IMO they need to change it to a seed format like the 56th. The team with the best record (in district) plays the team with the worst, 2nd - plays 3rd. This IMO is the most accurate and realistic way, the way that all districts should be done. NO, I don't see it as fair, but if they are really drawing, then yes.
