I hadn't seen June B. play until this weekend and now I have. I haven't seen Perry or Powell yet but just by the wins and loses over the past couple of weeks I would rank them like this:

Hazard (slightly)

IMO JBS is still the best team in the region, they are 17-4, they have beat Hazard, Bell County, and good Knott and Cordia teams, Hazard did win by 16 last night, but JBS will show a different team come next game

They might have the most talent but after seeing them for about the 6th or

7th time this season they are not the best "TEAM". It is a "TEAM" game.

A team a lot of people don't mention is Buckhorn. They are very good and capable of beating anyone IMO.

I heard alot of good things about JBS and i hadn't seen them play until this past weekend. I wasn't impressed. They couldn't shoot the ball, and they had a hard time recieving passes and rebounds. Hazard to me if they play as good as they can they are at the top of the region this year. Breathitt has alot of talent and can make a run, and if Hollan is hitting the jumper Breathitt could take the title home. To me this region is so wide open that any team could win it. Buckhorn showed me alot as well. They can shoot the ball, but in my opinion they need a little more out of Zack Gay. Buckhorn is a contender as well. Can't wait to see this tourny.

I would say one these four teams will win the region: JBS, Hazard, Breathitt, and Perry Central. But Powell, Lee, Buckhorn, and Cordia all have outside shots as well.

Powell, Lee and Cordia have more than an outside shot.

I would think JBS should have a little bit of an edge considering the talent they have.

I think Hazard and PCC know how to win when they have to and what it takes to win when they need to. That't the difference in them and JBS right now.

I'll say PCC.

Buckhorn and Lee both have nice teams, I think they are often over looked. Will be hard to win at Lee's house but Buckhorn can pull it off. Going to be interesting! Good luck to both.

thats why I said IMO, not yours, mine, I like JBS, I think they are the best team in the 14th, so Hazard blew them out, that was the best thing for JBS

Sounds like a JBS fan to me.

I will say one thing. If JBS doesnt start playing like a team, they can kiss they're 14th region championship good bye. Tate Cox might as well be sitting if he's only going to get 5 or 6 shots a game. When it was Cox, Garrison, and big Stepp JBS was rolling. Now that its primarily Clark and Clint JBS has lost 2 games and have played close to some teams that IMO they would've blown out in the beginning of the season. JMHO.
