Cox finished with 3.

3 or more players for Hazard finished with 10 or more.

I figured this game would have been closer!?! However, I am looking forward to the basketball rematch since Somerset and Hazard played each other for a Regional Championship in football.

Terrific defense by the Dawgs. Best of luck in Richmond!

Surprising final.

I called this one earlier on the prediction thread. Hazard just dismantled JBS. This JBS team is not trying to play team ball. Cox played thirty minute before scoring his only basket. After every timeout play was for Clint or Clark. Clark was 4 for 18 from the field and Clint was 1 for 7 with 3 ft's and the rest of the team combined shot only 14 shots. Two can not beat a team I feel for the other kids who play hard but will not get to participate in the offense.

Congrats Dawgs!!! Good luck in Richmond!!

Good game for hazard. Glad I decided to go see this. I was so unimpressed with JBS (Clint and Clark Stepp in particular). Clark was 4-18 tonight and forced everything while the others tried to do what they could. I thought the game was fairly called. Hazard just kept the momentum on their side and JBS forced way too much. Seemed like some confusion on the sideline over who was running the show.

On another note, during the trophy presentation Clark turned his back to the hazard players and covered his head. JBS lost any respect I had for them tonight as the coaching staff said nothing to #12 about his lack of sportsmanship.

Very good analysis LeeCoBobcatFan and I agree with every word in your post.

Campbell 13 and 9 rebs, Hicks 14pts and 7 ast. Hazard played great defense both Stepps struggled all night.

to quote a previous post by UK96 from JBS/B-horn game

"I think the Hazard pep section has JBS fired up for tonight and like the old saying goes "Its not good to wake a sleeping giant"..

One thing Uk96 forgot is that Hazard has all the tradition, the DAWGS are the sleeping giant.

I thought that the bulldogs might come out on top. But, I am surprised from the lack luster performance of JBS. I listened to the game on WSGS down here in Lexington and Hazard just walked all over JBS tonight.

This is not the first incident concerning sportsmanship.

Surprised by this one--I kept reading that JBS was the class of that region, and especially the "A" schools?? Good job by Hazard, who seems to continually have a spot in Richmond!!
