  1. It will be a close one at Breathitt. Both teams are talented. Lee has the upper hand on experience though. I'll take Lee by 5.
  2. Why isnt Mayo playing? Is his 14 day suspension back in affect?
  3. Don't see Scott Co. beating them twice, not going to happen. Especially not in Huntington. Huntington 15+
  4. I thought so, thanks for clearing that up. I could'nt remember. When's the last time this happened?
  5. Because Lee beat Powell by 13 at home and Powell only beat Lee by 8 at Powell, this means that Lee gets the #1 seed, but does this mean they win the season?, Where as they both have a 5-1 record in district?
  6. :thumb: Yep...will be a good one. Both will be dangerous in Letcher Co. come March.
  7. This is true. Looks like the 56th is shaping up to be a good one.
  8. True dat'! JBS really doesnt impress me as much as they do others. To me the Mason game was a fluke! What happened tonight in Irvine? I guess the Engineers were hitting?? Or did the refs not hurt them any? haha.
  9. I havent got the chance to see JBS play this season, but i have seen the rest. Leslie beating Perry doesnt really surprise me alot to be honest. PCC isnt as strong as they have been in the past. I think Powell and Lee could possibly beat PCC in the next few weeks when they play them. As for Hazard. They are a good team, split with Breathitt, who to me is exactly like JBS, in that they have so many holdbacks and "red-shirts". The 14th this year is probably as crazy as ever. Maybe the craziest I've ever seen it!
  10. Yea, that is very true. What did you think of those other teams that were mentioned? Those 6, to me seem very solid.
  11. :thumb: Yep, couldnt agree more. It all comes down to heart and will to win. Who ever wants it the most come tourney time is who will take it. Could be any of the following IMO: Breathitt, JBS, PCC, Hazard, Powell, Lee, Buckhorn or Knott. That's 8, not 7, my bad.
  12. Nicely put. Lee is an excellent team, and i see them as more than a darkhorse. There are about 7 teams that have a shot at the 14th IMO.
  13. Seeding is much better IMO. By using the seeding method, you bring each of the best teams from each district to the 14th tourney. This makes the winner much more honorable.
  14. But what's said in a locker room is always told to mommy's and daddy's. This is merely the coaches fault. Don't say something in a locker room if you don't want it repeated. Those "mommy's and daddy's" will tell others what's said, trust. This "manhood" thing is just weird.
  15. No, but Powell did beat them by 14. Cumberland beat a good Letcher central team by 9.
  16. Who else from the 14th has beat Cumberland this year?
  17. Calm down! It's true though alot of good teams in the Kentucky this year.
  18. Who did they lose the one game to?
  19. Looks like Scott co. may be the best team now, or one of the best.
