  1. Pettigrew hands down. His number are absolutely dominate over the rest. This years Mr. Basketball will be Pettigrew.
  2. The 14th region could be the tightest tourney in the state IMO.
  3. The 14th should be very very interesting this year. I'm looking for some major upsets in district play and even first round of region, I can't wait.
  4. They havent beat PCC or Powell. Infact they lost to PCC by 3 at home and Powell only lost to PCC by 3 at PCC.
  5. It's almost March, just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were.
  6. Estill made close to 10 threes in there last meeting at Powell and still lost 85-70. I like Powell in this one.
  7. 1) Knott 2) PCC 3) Breathitt 4) Powell 5) Leslie 6) Estill 7) LCC 8) Hazard 9) Owsley 10) Wolfe
  8. You're very right, Lee is a great team, just havent been playing to there potential as of late. Lee won't be forgotten, just havent been talked about much lately. I really thought they would make much more noise in the 14th than they have this year, kind of an upset in the 14th. Good showing against Henry Clay lastnight though, but you can't forget where it was played.
  9. I like your observation and thoughts. I would also like to add that there might have been some missed calls due to there only being 2 refs, but you can't blame a game on the refs. I see Powell as a 10-15 point better team, anywhere else but PCC's house. Perry shot lights out, and i think Bailey had atleast 40 points, something like 7 or 8 threes included, wow! I also like PCC at the #1 spot and Powell at the 2 with JBS, Hazard, and Breathitt close behind.:thumb:
  10. I have to take Powell in this one. Powell has beat Estill the last two meetings, once in Irvine by 11 and in Powell by 15. I have to rank Powell right up there in the top 1 or 2 spot in the region at this point in the season. Powell is hott right now, even with the 3 point loss to Perry central at PCC. Even though Estill only lost to Breathitt by 1, it was although a home game, and noone in the state, no matter what team is ever guaranteed a win there. Estill is dangerous though when Berryman gets hot. I think Powell will take the district and go deep into the 14th, JMHO.
  11. IMO, Kelly cannot contain Romans in the post. The real threat to Powell from the PCC end is Bailey and Amis. If Powell's defense can keep them out of the lane and force bad shots Powell will take this one without a doubt, with no problems. I still like Powell by about 10, regardless of the game being at PCC.
  12. That would of been my choices of games to cancel, Breathitt and Perry.
  13. What was the score of this game? Or was this game cancelled?
  14. Who will take this one? Both have been playing great as of late, but i'll take Powell by 10 or 12. If Romans gets comfortable inside it could get ugly.
  15. Glad to see Central win a game, and against their own cross-town rival...great win for Central. Good luck into the tourney!
  16. How is the region bracket setup or determined and what could it possibly look like?
  17. What are some gym names in the 14th?, besides The Palace of Booneville.
  18. 53rd - JBS, Letcher, Knott, Jenkins & Cordia 54th - Perry, Hazard, Leslie & Buckhorn 55th - Breathitt, Jackson City, Wolfe, & Riverside 56th - Lee, Powell, Estill, & Owsley
  19. What two teams will represent the 53rd, 54th, 55th, and 56th districts and who will win each district?? I'll say: 53rd KCC JBS 54th Hazard PCC 55th Breathitt Wolfe (depending on who JC plays) 56th Powell Lee Winners: JBS, Perry or Hazard(Toss Up), Breathitt, & Powell
