I'd have to say no. Were any of those out-of state teams ranked nationally? I assume Oak Hill is better than Moeller.

Nice team but not # 1 ........ I see 3 or 4 Sr. but only one with numbers and bunch of Soph. ...... Will they be better next year or is the big Sr. the man??

I'd say YES. For the record Hunnington is NOT in MaxPrep's top 25!

I have seen Moe play a few times this year (as well as Huntington), they are worthy of #1 in Ohio, but not nationally. Moeller VS Huntington would be a good game, with Huntington winning. Moeller would be a top 25-30 team. Stick with the USA Today rankings, Maxpreps tries to act like a HS bball version of the BCS.

Big word is team !!! I said in other post O J has been fun and could have been better but with the things that happen last year and looks like will see the same thing this year....... Sad to say again with a GREAT PLAYER like O J but can't wait to see him move on ...........

First, you look at the source, what's a MaxPreps? Anyone can start a website these days and rank anything they want. It doesn't make it legit. Maybe the site is and will make a name for itself, but if Huntington High isn't in the top 20 or 25, I doubt it. The team (Huntington) has two of the best seniors in the nation and starts five D-1 players. I don't care anything about them, but they are probably okay.

 

Moeller is very talented. But, I can't see them in the top 10 nationally.

That alone tells me this poll is garbage.. How can you NOT put a team that has 5 D-1 players in the top 25..

 

Is maxpreps based out of Ohio? If so.. sour grapes IMO.

I dont care if they are #1 or #100. I just wish Matt Roberts would have decided staying at Highlands and being an All 9th Region performer was more important than sitting the bench as a Soph and Jr at Moeller. Come Back Matt, the Birds need you in the Post.

I don't know much about Moeller. I have seen Huntington High play several times this season, and if they're not ranked in the top 10 nationally by MaxPreps, then MP has no credibility.

They probably are not, but I havnt seen much of Moeller. I would think Oak Hill Academy would beat them if they played each other.

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even as good as the top team in Kentucky.
