Is this for the infield or outfield grass or both? What type of grass do you currently have in your outfield. We need to replant and I am considering rye, bermuda, and fescue.

Injuries will play a big role for Bethlehem. They need Luke Wimpsett, Cam Wilson, and Caleb Watts in the line-up. Their replacements last week played well but this certainly hurts their depth. Bethlehem will also benifit from the later start and cooler temps. Their gametime last week was 6:30 and the heat was brutal. This week should be an excellent game.

I feel safe in saying that over 375 of those yards were in the second half. Numbers and heat took a big toll on Bethlehem.

Central Hardin had too many numbers for Bethlehem to maintain a 14-10 halftime lead. Bethlehem played very well matching the 6A school hit for hit through the first half. By my count Bethlehem had 9 players that wer going both ways. That combined with a 6:30 gametime (gametime Heat index of 102) lead to Bethlehem being completely exhausted in the second half. Central dominated the third quarter but some gritty freshman who replaced the varsity heald Central scoreless in the 4th. Props to Micheal Kidwell, Casey Robinson, Jacob Whitner,and Taylor Ballard for enduring the entire game.

Too early in the season for me to make a call. Does anyone know the story as to why Keaton Hall quit. I heard he is not with the team and that they have lost some others ???????

Better than expected. Played Eminence and controlled the scrimmage. Actually looked better than I remembered them looking against Eminence in the preseason last year. Stanley looked very good running the ball, Greenwell passed well. The offense will be much more balanced and have more depth. The biggest issue will be the tough schedule ahead. It will make it tough for some of the younger guys to step up.

Bats win tourney in Murray and finish season 23-1. Kurt Mason and David Downs did an excellent job with a fine group of boys. If they stay together and improve as they age they will be a force.

Bethlehem has looked good in practice. Wimpsett and Stanly are ready now. If they can get the play out of Greenwell, Robinson, Wimpsett, Downs, and Wilson that they are capable of then they could be a formidable opponent down the road. Bethlehem will be playing a full Freshman and Jv schedule this year and their future looks very good.

Bethlehem is going to be better than expected but is playing a very tough schedule for a team with 270 students and only returning 4 or 5 starters. Here is my take. Look for Bethlehem to be strong the following two years.

How many truckloads would you suggest. I have been told one truck load will rais the infiield about 1/2 and inch.

We are going to re-do the skinned portion of our infield. Any suggestions on what to use. We are looking at mar mix and I am curious if most are pleased with it and how they applied. i.e. did they mix with any soil conditioner.

Nelson County went at 5:30 a.m. Now that is hardcore.

Update. Bats are now 19-0 and have won all four tourneys they have participated in this year. This weekend they will be in Murray Ky. and step up and age group to play some 16 yo teams. We will see how that goes.

I would concur. Bethlehem is a year or two away, but will be awfully tough to handle when they have Casey Robinson, Luke Wimpsett, and Austin Downs in the backfield together. Luke and Casey will get the ball quite a bit this year but are still one year off from being the factor they can be.
