The District Championships will not be decided until the second round of the playoffs this year, but this plays a part in the seedings for the district tournament.

This was a Great Game! Both teams played a whale of a game on defense. There were alot of big hits. I know the score says Breathitt had 20, but they only had one big drive. The other two scores came as a result of them starting on the Leslie 30 yd line, and a 70 yard pass at the end of the first half. Leslie shot themselves in the foot yet again, being inside the 15 3 times and not scoring. Breathitt Co. has an outstanding offensive line. They're the best around, I think. The big Allen kid is the real deal. Leslie's D line has been a big strong point this year, and was for most of this game, but Breathitt came out on they're first drive of the second half and pounded the ball down the field, right behind #75. That was the last score of the game. Congratulations to Breathitt for a really hard fought game. Good luck against Middlesboro.

Leslie's defense was unreal tonight. Held Bobby Owens to 72 yds. rushing, and 22 of that came against the J.V. Knott scored with just a few seconds in the game on the freshman team. Knott had under 100 total yards on the Varsity D. Ryan Howard rushed 11 times for 148 yds 2 TD's and Jimmy Joe Morgan threw for 170 yds. and 3 TD's. Special Teams was a big factor tonight as well. Leslie blocked 2 punts and ran one back for a TD.

Hey, Slusher is the best linebacker in this region, maybe even the state. I played with the most hyped player ever in this state, (Tim Couch), and I'm sure some players on other teams were overlooked because everyone was busy watching what Couch was doing. There are other guys having great years at this position, sometimes it takes ruffling a few feathers to get the attention of people.

Lane Collett #63 for Leslie. He's a big reason why those linebackers have so many tackles. Not the strongest, or the quickest, but is Extremely aggresive and knows his role and does his job well.

Timmy Baker from Leslie Co. He outplayed Slusher bad when Bell came to Leslie. Not to take anything from Slusher, but Baker is being overlooked. I don't know how, but he doesn't get enough credit outside his team. Not that he wants it or anything.

Stadium of Champions in Hopkinsville is the best. Its nice, very nice.

Corbin is doing exactly what they need to do. Isn't Corbin 2-4 this year? What they need to do is win a few more games.

Clay Co.'s middle school is always one of the best around, year in and year out. Even though they're mostly all holdbacks, never the less, they are always tough.

I just know one thing, Bell has an excellent secondary. And I know another thing, LESLIE CO. WILL KNOCK YOUR BLOCK OFF!!! Forced 3 more To's tonight. When they can ever put any Offense together, watch out.

Ryan Howard - Leslie Co.

Tim Couch. He averaged 36 points a game his Junior year and won Mr. Football. I played and graduated with Tim, and trust me, he wasn't in many 2nd halfs and fourth quarters that year. It was a little different our senior year, and I think the whole recruiting process knocked down his basketball numbers a little, but he is the greatest basketball/football player in Kentucky high school

Howard only carried the ball 11 times, not twenty as i had said before.

That was a heck of a defensive game played by Leslie Co!!!! That was a great game in general, but when the Eagles came out of the dressing room from halftime, they really got after P-Burg. P- Burg has a middle linebacker that is a manchild. He's a monster!!! Timmmy Baker for Leslie is as good as they come at middle linebacker. Way to go Eagles!!!!!!!

Ryan Howard from Leslie Co. had 196 yds. rushing, 136 yds. passing, and 112 yds. of kick returns in a 27-20 win over Lynn Camp. 2 passing touchdowns and one rushing.

They're not the '85 Bears though.

Roshkopf is a horse for Lynn Camp. I think it will be a pretty good game. Could be wrong though, but I think it will be a good game.

This will be a tough team come playoff time. They have great Senior leadership, and they lead by example. Timmy Baker lead the defense in the second half, and the goaline stand was unreal. This team had no quit in them Friday, and if they play that way all season, and develop like they have, they'll be tough at playoff time.

What is South doing on there? Is Johnson Central really that good?
