Who in your opinion will win and why?

I give the edge to Breathitt. Leslie is a okay team but i think Breathitt will find away to win this game. This game will mean alot in the distrist play. Breahtitt is looking for a number 1 seed but if they lose this game it might not happen. But Breathitt should have no problume with Leslie if the offense get going. The Bobcat defense is stepping up and the offense looks stail. Look for this young Bobcats offense to get a fire lit under them this week in practice and sit back and watch the points rack up aginst leslie.

Where is the game being played?

Breathitt will win but it will be close. Breathitt has the offense and Leslie has the defense.

The game is being held at Leslie County High.

I think Breathitt will win by 2 touchdowns, but this game in my opion will be a classic.

This one should be a dandy IMO. Might be the game of the week in the mountains if Bell and Rockastle werent playing each other.

Breathitt had a ruff game with Cawood at Brethitt this Friday. Leslie Co. has a little bit more experience comming into this game and the home field advantage. I look for those two being the difference in a close and competitive ball game.

Could be the best game of week #8 IMO.

 

If Leslie County can come out and play like they did against Bell County than they will have a good chance of winning this football game.

I watched Breathitt play Cawood and they did struggle at times but I expect them to rebound against the eagles. Leslie does have a nice defense but I think the bobcat Offense is maybe the best that Leslie has faced yet.

Too close to pick. I have seen both teams play other opponents. Both have about the same caliber of offense. Leslie could be a little ahead in the running game with Howard. Defense will win this game. It won't be the offense.

Breathitt is at least a touchdown better. It should be a good game, though.

This game means a lot to both teams. The loser will probably be looking at a 3 seed because Middlesboro looks to be the cream of District 7.

 

As far as the best game in the Mountains, Bell v. Rock is probably bigger.

 

Belfry v. Prestonsburg will decide the District 8 champion in Class 2a, and there is "some" ill will between the two programs.

 

This is a good time of year for high school football fans.
