I think if C'ville had not changed coaches they would have went further in the playoffs this year. I hope they can turn it around next year. Congrats to Fairview and good luck to them against Raceland.

Pikeville by a TD or two. That region is weak this year except for Hazard and Pikeville.

Excellent story. There is a reason we play the games. BTW Corbin by a TD or two. Bath is a pretty good team. I'll be pulling for Corbin and all other mountain teams.

The more teams in the playoffs the better. Think about it. In the end, who is really hurt by this? No one is! The champion teams will win. Schools will get more revenue. Players will get more time to play the game they love. It's a Win Win situation. Yes you have blow outs, but you had that in the old system too.

The last two years that would have been Williamsburg, but Campbellsville came alive last year and went to region.

Being a good middle school coach does not translate to being a good high school coach. It's a bit easier to be successful at the middle school level when you have players who are hold backs and the such. Many programs around the area have very good middle school teams but they don't always transfer over to good high school teams. I wish NL good luck in finding a new Coach for their fine school.

Small school and mountain teams when they are not playing the 1A mountain teams.

Daddy Cat, apparently all the mountain teams are gonna have to earn that respect on the field. That is just the way it is in Kentucky football...and until a mountain team can take the big prize that is the way it is always gonna be.

I think Lynn Camp will keep this close and pull out the win at the end by Physically beating the Eagles. LC has a chip on their shoulder and is ready to take it out on someone.

You're right Daddy Cat, hard to tell what a little 1A team is gonna have from year to year. Sometimes you think you're gonna be great and a couple of injuries here and there can kill ya. Other times you think there is not much in the cupboard and then wham, the kids get a little bit of passion and confidence and it's like an entirely different team.

Knox County people sure disagree with refs in football games alot.

I believe another poster on here said that Williamsburg tried to schedule last year and this year. I don't think Williamsburg has been in a down cycle these past two years. What about LC? LC last year before Joe was hurt was a very good football team. Year and year out LC can compete normally. This year even with all the injuries LC has still done fairly well against good teams. LC's depth has hurt the team in 4th quarter of some games.
