  1. Going with Cumberland in an upset.
  2. Daddy Cat what are you talking about? I don't remeber seeing any problems between C'ville and the Burg at that game. W. Moses on offense is about equal to Joe except that Williamsburg won a couple of games without their best player.
  3. most of those fumbles were caused by hits thus resulting in a lack of focus. IMHO lock of focus deals with mental mistakes. Playing out of position, throwing stupid passes resulting in turnovers in LC territory, not playing full speed and bad snaps (LC did have a couple of those but recovered them) Holding onto the ball could be attributed to focus if no one touches you I suppose.
  4. I think the bus trip over was hard on Williamsburg and missing a couple of key players on Defense hurt. If I am correct the 2nd half of that Game Williamsburg played much better.
  5. yeah, Wburg seems to have a habit of letting up when they get up on teams. Some of the games they have had should not have been as close as they were.
  6. LC and Williamsburg..... although making Campbellsville drive 2 and half hours here would be nice. but Williamsburg must get past Clinton County first.
  7. 13 - 17 everyone has a bad week, perhaps LCA did.
  8. is that yet another knock at Williamsburg?
  9. That's why they play the game, with Rivarly games anything can happen.
  10. W'burg schedule was no cake walk....
  11. I don't think Williamsburg has a real problem with playing Whitley, it's just the fact that a school as small as Williamsburg got stuck in a district with SL (Big 4a school, Whitley 4a and Corbin Big 2A) while over in the other District you have Lynn Camp 1A, B'ville 1A, Pineville 1A and Knox Central 3A (I think). Williamsburg beat Lynn Camp, Pineville & B'ville twice last year and yet did not get to advance to Region even though they were better than any of those 3 teams and possibly Knox Central. Districts seem just a little out of whack IMHO. Of course I don't like the way they have Basketball set up in this state anyway.
  12. Lynn Camp, Knox Central, Pineville were all viable options for the Burg...
  13. Good win for the jackets, I think some people have forgotten that most of the Williamsburg skill players are 10th graders or lower (besider Brock who is a junior and Moses who is a senior). Brown, Taylor(1st year player), Petit & Ryan Moses are all 10th graders. They are just starting to come into their own in the Jackets offense. On defense when the Jackets sell out to stop the run, good things seem to happen. Was a good effort on both teams part. Hard hitting and hard running. The jackets overcome 2 or 3 int by the QB to get the win. Good luck to Evarts in the playoffs.
  14. I don't think anyone gave the burg a chance last week. I would not count out Lynn Camp just yet.
  15. Don't doubt McCreary they can match up size and speed wise wise with Campbellsville.
  16. injuries hurt, Wburg has felt that all season long.
  17. I don't anyone should underestimate Evarts......they can bring it when they want to, and they will want to against the Burg.
  18. no way Coach Herron would leave Wburg for Whitley County. The steelers, sure, but not Whitley.
  19. Give Coach Black time....he was given a program that was a mess after the whole Gentry thing.
  20. My money on Cumberland.
  21. Cumberland by a lot. Down a bit this year for Harlan, but they'll be back next year. Cumberland will not :(
