Williamsburg doesn't have the luxury of having all the numbers that the other schools in the district have. Speaking from experience sometimes you have a team full of corner players that you have to put in the middle infield and try to make the best of it because you don't have the players to field those spots. Stricklin has done a heck of a job with what little he has. Until you have coached in a school the size of Williamsburg you can't really know what it is like to try and field a team and then you have to go and play schools 2 to 5 times bigger. Against schools of simliar size Williamsburgs has done very well. Hats off to the baseball team for a good year.
CATS testing is what all schools are judged on. If you fail at that you get taken over. Simple as that. Teachers know what is best for students but the people in Frankfort and Washington will not listen.
take a hit from someone that big and you're gonna feel something. I like the passion and intensity I am seeing in the NBA this playoff season. Seems like some of them are actually playing for the game and not the money. It's actually perked my interest.
support the sport that is in season for the school. Although when you are a small school you sometimes have to share players. Just the facts of life. At a large school you should be able to field enough players to not have to make an exception.
the Burg has a lot of upcoming 8th graders who are already busting butt in the weight room. I would not be surprised to see 3 or 4 Freshman starting for the burg next year.
I don't smoke it but statiscally speaking beer and whiskey kills alot more people a year then weed.
They should have never outlawed it in the first place.
it may deter a few people but it has only gotten worse as the laws have gotten tighter.
looks at the neterlands and their stance on drugs and compare their crime rate to ours.
judge not lest ye be judged yourself.
He who is without sin throw the first stone.
I would wager there are quite a few posters on this board who should have or could have been in trouble once or twice in there life for something and were given a second chance or just got plain lucky.
and I voted no, call me old school but many of the problems we have in today's culture can be attributed to the women behave and act today. Concidence?
I mean Paris Hilton is a role model for many young women.....
