Honestly who cares. Bottom line there are more football games being played, meaning there are more players getting to play another game of football. There is an additional week of extra gates for teams. All the other sports get to play a ton more games then football. The better teams will win anyway but at least some kids get to play another game and have that chance no matter how small it is to beat the Goliath. Sure the playoffs are watered down but at least some kids get to have one more game under the Friday night lights.
I don't think you understood what I was saying. Sure those schools are all class A, but many class A schools have twice the amount of players avaliable for football. A school with 200 males is not going to have the numbers that a school with 300 has.
I was say it would be hard for little mountain schools like Pineville, Jenkins, Harlan, Lynn Camp and others to compete with schools like Beechwood and LCA. The number of players those schools have is much lower (sometimes twice as much) then those schools. Then there is the money issue those schools face.
Congrats to Dusty Brown for 1st team offense WR. Congrats to Ryan Moses for Honorable Mention at QB. Both kids are from little Williamsburg and both have worked hard every year of their High School football career.
