Dern Knox Central...they messed up my picks. Congrats Pulaski Co.

Bizzarre game right front the start. Congratulations to Pulaski, they played well. KC blew a 21-0 first half lead.

I was at this game and it was a great one. KC owned the 1st quarter and a half and with 6 min to go in the 1st half it was KC 21 and PC 0. Then PC scored twice in the last 6 min of the half to make it KC 21 and PC 14. PC got the ball 1st the 2nd half and scored on their 1st drive to make it a 21-21 ballgame. The next score wasn't until there was 1:54 left in the game KC scored to take a 7 point lead. PC took the next possesion 70 yards in 1 min and some change to score 6 and trailed by one. Coach Hines called time-out and decided to go for the win (great call if you make it and the stupidest call in the world if you don't). They lined up in double tight power I formation and went with the play action pass and the 2 point conversion was good (great call:D)! I spent time on both sides of the field and both set of fans were equally complaining about the refs giving the game to the other team (not enough money in the world to get me to be an official). I think there were probably a few to many flags thrown in the game but as an outsider looking in and not really caring who won or lost (I just wanted to watch a good football game) I think it was a fairly well called football game (I am sure I will get hammered by KC fans but that is ok you should support your team and think they are the best). I think the most crucial call of the game went in KC's favor when PC was deep in their own territory and fumbled and while the ball was still on the ground one of the officials blew his wistle and then a KC player recovered the ball. The refs discussed it for several min. and then gave the ball to KC. That was the wrong call, if the ball is not in possession when the wistle is blown it is inevertent and the ball goes back to who possessed it last. The KC fans and coaches were yelling that it had to be a fumble because they threw a bean bag, well, it was a fumble but you have to recover it before a wistle is sounded. The refs blew it with an invevertent whistle and then blew it again when they gave the ball to KC. This was huge because PC had the momentum it was their 2nd possession of the 2nd half)and was fixing to take a 7 point lead. Anyway both sides got some calls and some calls went against both sides. All in all it was a fantastic game to watch if you were just wanting to watch a good football game without caring who won. Congrats to Pulaski Co. and hang in there Knox Central you guys are awesome!

I thought this was a pickem type game and it sounds like it was all that and then some! Good out of class game for both teams this late in the regular season! Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!

I listened on the radio and turned it off when KC went up 21-0. Sounds like an exciting game.

Great job by the refs you played a huge role you took on e from the boys in K.C.

It will be interesting to see how KC responds. They were penalized 18 times in this game. Will they hang their heads and complain about being "cheated" or will they take an honest look at the game film and figure out what is drawing the ref's attention?

The refs had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Knox has a good team, but so does Pulaski. Lets give credit were credit is due.:thumb:

How is that? Did the refs commit all those blocks in the back, or try to injure the QB from Pulaski a full 3 seconds after he releases the football, or go off the deep end & get unsportsmanlike penalties? PC committed a ton of penalties as well, so those cacel out. The refs did not take anything from KC, the PULASKI COUNTY MAROONS BEAT KNOX.

Maybe they'll think twice before dancing on PC's mid-field logo in pre-game warmups. At least wait until after the game. Not very bright. Anyway, good luck to KC the rest of the season. It looks like a good rivalry brewing between these 2 teams.

Sounds like a great comeback by PC I felt it would be tough for KC to win on the road there. Going for the win is the way to go when it works; for sure.

Did the refs tell the KC player to try to pick up that shanked punt that he fumbled? Did the refs tell the KC corners to bite on the inside fake on the winning TD?

Where you there? I was at the game. I also went with a friend from P.C. and he was embarrased by the calls. All I would like to say there was two great teams but I feel the out come was decided by the white hat.
