Where you there? I was at the game. I also went with a friend from P.C. and he was embarrased by the calls. All I would like to say there was two great teams but I feel the out come was decided by the white hat.

 

 

I was there and I will agree penalties played a major role in deciding the outcome. However, without actually viewing film I can't blame the calls on the refs. It is my opinion that a good team ignores and overcomes that which they can't control. KC had several opportunities to win the game regardless of the calls made.

 

No excuses. Play the game. Overcome and win.

Pepper II I agree with you on penalties should not determine the outcome of a game.However,I seen several games over the years and have thought that a call or two was questionable but I honestly can say that last night was the worst I have every saw by a group of grown men. I AGREE K.C. made mistakes like all teams can do. However the grown up meaning ''THE REFS'' made the absolute difference in the game last night.I wish those two teams could play again with a diff. crew it might have the same outcome but it would be nice if the kids decided not the striped shirts.

The only problem with that is that the new crew will also be human and human error plays a great role in officiating. The new crew would have people unpleased also.

I believe the Knox Central sideline could take a few lessons on spotsmenship from their halftime and post game antics.

Great job by the refs you played a huge role you took on e from the boys in K.C.

 

Listen I don't know what game you were at but there were just about as many penalties on PC as KC. When your team has recieved 2 unsportsman like penalties I think that should tell you something.

I don't know if he was there but I was and you can read what I posted above. I have coached many games where the calls seem to be one-sided and most of the time for the other team but if you talk to the other coach they would feel the same way. I think the refs threw to many flags but it was a big game and I think they were trying to be thourough and that made them over-officiate the game. Like I said, I spent time on both sides of the field and both set of fans were saying that the refs were giving the opposing team all the calls. It wasn't a perfectly called game (none of them are) but as an outsider looking in without a horse in the race I can say the officials were being fair with their calls and it wasn't a case were they were trying to help one team win. If you get caught up in the calls it will take you out of the game and I think that happened a little bit to KC. Just stay focused on playing each down and that is how you win. Do you think the right call was made when PC fumbled around their own 20 yard line late in the 3rd quarter? It was the one where the officials had a long conference to decide what to do. Did they make the right call?

They didn't make the right call it was an inverdeted whistle and KC shouldn't have recieved the ball.

I would say that there was mistakes made as always in this game. However I def. feel that the major swings in mo came from yellow flags.AS for the fumble I was not aware of the whislte if it was as you say it was the wrong call.

The MVP was the players that made the big plays when the game was on the line!
