Did anyone have a good angle to see the onside kick? I didn't. PHS kicker tapped the ball and their team surrounded it and escorted the required ten yards at a very slow pace. I could not see the ball because of the Pulaski players (the ref probably couldn't either) but I truly don't see how it could travel ten yards at that speed without some additional help. The KC players were saying the kicker helped it along soccer style.

 

Anyone have a view of this? HOP?

Maroon fan your team won one but I could not feel good about it if I was a P.C. fan. I truly believe this wast the worst game I have ever seen called by a group of grown men.

Not all of the calls were correct. They def determined the outcome period. I would like to see the film and the numerous holds that went silent. #42 FOR KC was held on just about every play and it was obvious and I cant remember one flag on those plays.

 

Pulaski had several holding penalties as well.

I never said the refs cost anyone the game. I said KC penalties did.

 

I think Central is a much better team. (if they cut down the penalties). We'll just disagree.

 

Last year KC's qb went down with an injury mid year. No excuse, injuries happen. They lost several games at the end of the year that they should have won. Regardless, if I had known we were going to go by last years results, we could have saved a long trip over there last night.

Pulaski also has several injuries this year. Brian Barnett, who may be Pulaski's best defensive player has been out all year. I guess we will just have to wait until the next time they play. But until then ( Pulaski owns bragging rights!):ylsuper:

Pulaski had 10 penalties for 83 yards, not counting the penalties that were declined. Totals were 18 for Knox & 10 for PC. Not the major discrepancy KC fans will have you believe.

Didn't think that there would thought it was close.

I believe 18 penalties on one team in a 48 minute high school game is extreme. Only a review of the film would determine weather the calls were correct. My true point on the game is. We could have wittnessed a war between to good teams but in the in there was just about as many flags as plays. I feel it and maybe I am wrong but the refs were more a part of the game as the great players from the two teams.If I am wrong I am sorry I just believe they could have let those kids play and it would have been a better game,maybe not a different outcome but defintly a better game.

 

Refs should call what they see, if a team committs 30 violations in a game and the refs see them they should throw the flag. Teams have a tendency to get some calls at home ignored and that might help them per home games but always hurts on the road. You can't depend on homer calls because you will never play for a State football campionship relying them! Discipline is the key!

I am very proud of this group of kids from PC! They spotted one of the best teams in 4A 21 points, gathered themselves & came back for a great victory. It wasn't handed to them, they earned it.

And, you must get out much if you think that was bad. Try traveling to some locations in the mountains. It's historic over there.

We got home too late to see it but since you reminded that they were there I just clicked on their website and watched it. As near as I could tell the ball was not touched twice. It was a good call.

Look-the tape clearly shows no favortism towards either team. pulaski made the plays they had to make and so did Knox. Pulaski's coaching staff just happen to roll the dice on the two point conversion and win! Happy Halloween:scared:

Good win for PC. First of all I am still not convinced Knox is a top 8 team in 4A. Way too many discipline problems and mental mistakes. It appears it cost them last night.

 

Apparently you can take the boy from Knox Co. but not the Knox Co. from the boy. That has been their problem for years (before Wayne and now during) and it seems Mills and Co. cannot get them to keep their composure.
