They were all the correct calls!

Did anyone have a good angle to see the onside kick? I didn't. PHS kicker tapped the ball and their team surrounded it and escorted the required ten yards at a very slow pace. I could not see the ball because of the Pulaski players (the ref probably couldn't either) but I truly don't see how it could travel ten yards at that speed without some additional help. The KC players were saying the kicker helped it along soccer style.

 

Anyone have a view of this? HOP?

I believe 18 penalties on one team in a 48 minute high school game is extreme. Only a review of the film would determine weather the calls were correct. My true point on the game is. We could have wittnessed a war between to good teams but in the in there was just about as many flags as plays. I feel it and maybe I am wrong but the refs were more a part of the game as the great players from the two teams.If I am wrong I am sorry I just believe they could have let those kids play and it would have been a better game,maybe not a different outcome but defintly a better game.

It was the best onside kicked I have ever seen and it did travel 10 yards. The official was right there.

Good point I agree with you it looked like KC lost their composure in the second half.

It only took one I would say from the other side it looked as if it was kicked more but he only kicked it once.

KC would have won going away? I think you are wrong on that one. As a matter of fact I think Pulaski is a better team than Knox central. Pulaski beat them last year over there and as a matter of fact I don't think Knox Central has ever won a game against Pulaski. Pulaski has just about everyone back from that team last year and so does Knox. The bottom line is the better team won last night and the refs had nothing to do with the outcome.

As far as the flags being legit if they were in fact penalties call the. In my opinion many of the flags were not needed. To me and once again i saw no need for the penalties I believe they were excessive. This is is my opinion olny. Maybe I am wrong it is just the way I saw it.

I never said the refs cost anyone the game. I said KC penalties did.

 

I think Central is a much better team. (if they cut down the penalties). We'll just disagree.

 

Last year KC's qb went down with an injury mid year. No excuse, injuries happen. They lost several games at the end of the year that they should have won. Regardless, if I had known we were going to go by last years results, we could have saved a long trip over there last night.

Not all of the calls were correct. They def determined the outcome period. I would like to see the film and the numerous holds that went silent. #42 FOR KC was held on just about every play and it was obvious and I cant remember one flag on those plays.

WYMT showed it last night. Ball actually traveled over 10 yards. It was a clean play. About the penalties on the last drive, just because it is late in the game & the game is on the line, doesn't mean a pennalty doesn't count. A personal foul is still a personal foul. I am yet to here anyone say they were bad calls because they weren't. Knox committed the penalties. The only true "bad call" of the game was the "fumble" called against PC in the 3rd Qtr on the whistle that was blown yet no KC fan heard.

Get with your coaching staff, I'm sure they will have it. While you're watching, make sure to see the blocks in the back from KC that were called. I watched them myself. It must really suck to be #42 & get held on EVERY play.
