10th Regional Question
letstalksports replied to U Reach I Teach's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Amen brother! I once went to the Fifth Third Classic and many were turned away and ended up being the best game I've ever witnessed. It doesn't make much sense to me that Montgomery host it when they can only seat 4,000 fans and yesterday's attendance was 5,300. There will be about 1,500, most likely Mason County fans, really upset. Any chance of having NKU host it every third year eventually when they're new facility is finished? -

10th Regional Question

I've heard that the new gym in Mt. Sterling only holds 4,500 tops. Anyone have the attendance stats from yesterday? The fire marshall would play a big role if Montgomery hosts one in the future. -

I think everyone on Mason's team dunks in warmups. Wanna see a dunk contest come before the game! -

I know why they get playing time. I don't know why King gets zero. King averaged eight in the beginning of the season as the seventh man and hasn't seen the floor since. He also put the locks on a quality point guard in Tyler Mains last season in the tenth. This season, he played exceptional defense against Scott's point guard in a win. They will need him this postseason, mark that down!

Worst Applebee's I've ever been to. The service is horrible. Best place in Maysville is the new Penn Station. -
You're definitely right, there are only so many minutes on this deep team but some of the kids have no business playing in front of him. I'm a frim believer that they will need points off the bench if they're going to win a state championship. I don't see, with the exception of Browning, who can come up with that production against a top ranked team in the state other than King. Anyway, one things for sure, this is one tough team if a kid like King gets little playing time.

Only because his family is from Bracken County. And I suppose you are talking about the staff because you'd be wrong to think no one from Mason is harping about his PT. Anyone that have asked has no explanation why he isn't playing. I want to hear why he isn't playing. Can you tell me that?

A lot of things haven't made sense from an Ethan King fan's viewpoint!

He's number 22.

He was sixth off the bench...not sixth man mhighfield. The games I've been to of Mason County's (quite a few), no one in the wide world of sports can tell me he shouldn't be playing. Not to dog any of the kids playing in front of him but they're really going to need another scorer if Miller or Setty get in foul trouble. He's proved he can score at any time, he can leap and he's aggressive. You can tell he's trying to prove himself when he gets out there. He shouldn't have anything to prove.

Royals: Give King some PT, he can play!

That is a bit disturbing, not to accuse anyone of anything but did anyone else think that St. Pat's defense was being a little over-aggressive on Augusta's third-string with a 30+ point lead? -
