I was at that Mason Co./ St. Henry game. Michael Schmidt got hurt in the game and it really took away the Crusaders' post game. He was a huge asset in the first half. If he played the whole game who knows what could have happen.

The last time Bracken County beat Pendleton County was January 9, 2001 at BC.

My sources tell me that it was very physical down the stretch and that #33 for BB was using some pretty intense language. Did the coaches shake hands after the game?

Brad Cox-Pendleton County He's still young, but since joining the Wildcat program as a coach they have a record of 81-28(3 1/2 seasons). The Wildcats have also won three district titles and one regional title since he's been there. He also might be one of the best dressed assistant coaches while always rocking the Red Sport Coat. Cox was a PC player from 1999-2002.

I forgot to mention that Pendleton County STILL has a home winning streak of 26 after beating Brossart. They haven't lost in Falmouth since December of 2003. Brossart has came out flat against Mason County, Covington Scott and now Pendleton County. It seems as if Coach Code and his staff are not getting their players ready to play on time. All three were HUGE games and they ended up losing 2 out of 3. The seniors need to start stepping up.

Pendleton County extends a six game win streak over Brossart. Mustangs haven't won against PC since December 2003. Looks like all of the "revenge" that was going to take place didn't happen. Brossart is a weird team to me this season. Led by a lot of seniors and returning lettermen they go out and lay an egg by scoring 33 points at Mason County and get blown out. Then they travel to Falmouth and are supposed to drill the inexperienced, 3-8 Wildcats and lose by 3. I thought they were ranked in the state? "Championship" teams can't have many more downfalls like this.

Hopefully Bracken can get past the "6 win" curse.

The most bush league thing that I have ever witnessed at a girls game was at the 2003 38th district tournament held at Campbell County High School. I might need some help with this, but maybe Ladiesbballcoach can help. It was a semi-final game(the winner would go on to regionals) between Campbell County and Pendleton County. In the closing seconds of the game Campbell was leading 62-60. Somehow the ball went out of bounds off of CC and I think(if I remember correctly) there was either 0.1 or 0.0 seconds left. I don't know how there was 0.0, but the horn never sounded. So PC had to go the length of the floor with practically no time on the clock, down by two. A PC player launched a one armed pass to senior forward Megan Wood behind the three point line. She turned around and made it. The crowd absolutely goes nuts. The horn still doesn't sound and the officials finally blow their whistles to end the game(because you can't make a shot under 0.3 seconds). If the shot would have counted, PC would have won 63-62, but it didn't and Campbell Counthy went on to win the district, the 10th region and lose to Betsy Lane in the first round of the state torunament. I'm not saying that Pendleton County should have won that game, but the ending was definitely BUSH LEAGUE.

The last time Campbell County beat Pendleton County was December 9th, 2003. Camels won 66-56 at PCHS.

I saw Tate Cox play in the 5/3 Classic against Pendleton County and was very impressed with his poise for a freshman. He was not rattled at all and has a deadly three point shot from the corner. I think he hit like 3-4 from the same spot at Catholic. As a good freshman he will only continue to gain strength and get better as his career progresses. Good luck to this young player.
