These two teams will meet at Nicholas Co. on Wednesday January 17th. What are your alls predictions for this game?

Bracken County is in dire need of a win and I believe they get one at Nicholas County to advance to the All A semifinal. Ahrens must finish inside and will Kaunui sp? be available? Definitely scoring would improve with the presence of Ahrens inside and if Tara returns and both are hungry as well as the rest of the Bracken team. No doubt the players will be prepared as its never easy to win in Carlise. Best of luck!

Why is it never easy to win in Carlisle?

Its never easy to win on the road period. Kauinui will not be playing for she is being repromanded for conduct detriminal to the team.. She should be back sometime after the Class A though... Ahrens will definately need to finish better then she did against St. Pat.. If she does and defense plays well, then the Lady Bears have a chance..

I have not seen Nicholas Co. this year so I am not too sure how well they are playing. Havin seen a few Lady Bear games it think there is few things that need to happen. First, They are a young team and need a vocal leader on the floor. Second, without Kauinui on the floor Ahrens and Rogers are both going to finish with confidence. Third, McDowell needs to hit from outside, In the games I been too she has not taken as many shots as I would like to see.

 

I hope they can get back on track, sorry I will not be able to see this one.

 

Good Lady Bears

Nicholas at Nicholas always tough. Too many wild cards in this one to pick a winner. What if the twins get hot? Or Bretz decides to have a big night? No Kauinui again, alot of rebounds to make up for. Start the varsity,jv, or freshmen. Way to thin a limb for a big bear to go out on.

Nicholas may get the win here, the Lady Bears will miss Kauinui for sure. I don't think either team has a legitimate chance at a second win in the Class A.

Semifinals Friday @ 6:30pm and 8pm

 

Finals Saturday @ 7pm

Hopefully Bracken can get past the "6 win" curse.
