In what was a tight game in the first half Augusta went into the second half with with a two point lead. Augusta would put together a complete game and win big in the end. Big free throws at the end of the game by Josh White and Dustin Staggs would prove to be the difference. The brothers White, Shawn and Josh did a good job tonight in setting the game tempo. Good job Shawn in your first Varsity start.

Dustin Staggs led Augusta with 21 points 12 boards.

Josh White adds 12 points, 7 from the free throw line.

A good game from Brayde Hamilton with 12 points also

Matt Groves 10, Jeremy Hardymon 8, S.White 3, Steven Cummins 2

Augusta improved to 7-9

JV Game was also won by Augusta 47 -25

Ty Krebs led Augusta again with 17 Points

Chris Mofford 9, Shawn White 9, Brayde Hamilton 8, and Jo Jo Gray 4

Jv record now stands at 7-5

Congrats to Rob and the Panthers!

Who did Shawn start for?

Who did Shawn start for?

Shawn started for Steven Cummins, Cummins had his nose broken in St. Pat Game. Also with the departure of another player had to help fill two holes.

This is a very big win for the Panthers. This gives them a lot of confidence going into the Class A where they will play Nicholas again on their home floor. Beating them before the class A on their home floor will give them a lot of confidence.

Yeah a guard that normally plays quit after the St. Pat game at home... This player has had a history of quitting, so this is nothing new to the team...

Congrats to the Panthers. Great win in a tough place. Nice job of stepping up by the younger White. They've got another player on the JV I think could help on Varsity too. # 52 (Krebs ?) seems to be consistently scoring 15 - 20 a game. Be a big plus for Augusta to convert those into Varsity points.

Awww...I believe I know who are speaking of. Could be addition by subtraction.

But back to the game...Good win for the Panthers, I look for them to be All A Runners Up, and have a nice second half of the season.

Very well stated Panther15z30... Addition by subtraction is right

They definately have a good chance to be all A runner up as if they win they will play the winner of Bracken/St. Pat
