    You do realize that a lot of school systems do not have athletic budgets. The only way they fund all sports is fundraising and money made off the gate of boys basketball and football.

    Hendrix running that post/corner route was a thing of beauty. Every team knew it was coming but they couldn't stop it and Brown was great at hitting him on that route. Of course, setting it all up was his speed and threat of running past everyone on the fade or post routes....and just when they were sitting on those routes BAM he slams on the breaks for the post/corner!

    Parents/Adults take winning and losing more personal than the kids. Or I should say they are able to bounce back from it long before their parents and coaches are able to get over it, especially loses. If little Billy isn't walking around crying, or pouting with his headphones on or ready to fist fight someone, he didn't care about winning.

    Yes, they did turn people away at Conner, Holmes, and Ryle when the Regionals were held those gyms.

    Does the 8th Region have any choice but Henry County? Henry County is my favorite high school gym!

    District championship game $5 for one game, 9th Region Tournament $8 for two games.

    Hmm, Mapquest has Highlands 4.5 miles away, Scott 6.4 miles away, and Holmes 6.5 miles away.

    The last two fouls called on Skal were terrible!

    When Skal has been in the offense has looked pretty good. Did I really just type that?

    Skal was looking pretty good...why did he sit so long to end the half? Did he have two fouls? I thought he only had one.

    I cant remember any high school games where fans were holding up signs.

    I would like to see how Steph would handle "Steph Rules." I think in the 80's he might have gottn' knocked into next week a few times! I am still waiting for a team to bring their own brand of "Bad Boys" to the Warriors.

    Maybe I have the terminology wrong but utilities do pay property owners in some instances to put poles and anchors on their property.

    They are good with it if you pay them. If what Google is offering is so great, let them invest in installing all new poles and acquiring the right of way.

    Yeah, his mad dash ran into the Conner AD and he thought he was going to be able to shove the AD out of the way and get to the officials...the AD is not the one that went backwards...
