  1. Is screaming dad sitting with cow bell lady?
  2. SK starting to take over upfront and now figured out how to stop the one pass play Ryle was killing them with
  3. Ryle back to their normal defense
  4. SK hasn't crossed midfield. Ryle playing four defensive lineman. ..Coach Woolf doing something way out of the box for him
  5. Racke making bad reads, missed slot down the middle lobs it outside gets wr hammered
  6. Bad bad read by Racke, should have thrown the out. Nice pick by Mieman
  7. Mieman playing monster on defense his job is go to Powell
  8. Ryle running the same pass play over and over. OLB doesn't know who to cover the slot or the rb out of the backfield. Coach no adjustment after last score.
  9. The Bluebird kicker puts them deep into the endzone.
  10. My experience with girls basketball and soccer is that the girls that play AAU/Select like to stay together in high school. And if they do base it on history, tradition, and coaching then HC would be the obvious choice for incoming players. I typed that while saying "Panda Power!" three times to confirm my allegiance.
  11. Didn't Courtney Sandfoss play varsity bball and softball her 8th grade year?
  12. I am trying to keep up.... So, is the story that players want to go play basketball at HC and that they wanted to do it before they won state? Just trying to understand.
  13. If he was a Ryle guy, he would have his driver get everything ready.
  14. Yeah, really! So, HHS has a good freshman kicker, good for them. Where was HHS starting their drives? If they were pinning them deep, then I like the idea of an onside kick even better. Still nothing wrong with trying an onside kick, even if you kick it to the endzone every time. Attempting it does not mean you don't think you can win.
  15. It is not like kicking it deep in Freshman football is going to pin anyone deep.
  16. So, what how much whining and crying were Highlands and CovCath doing for years when they were the two best teams but were in the same district.
  17. Ryle will be over matched upfront on both sides of the ball.
  18. Ryle can not line up and pound the ball at anyone. The only reason they can run the ball is because of Morgan and his ability to throw the ball.
  19. Unfortunately we do not get to here that every year, anymore! Well, there are a whole lot of people(teams & coaches) that are glad they do not have to here that every year!!
  20. But Deaton was not good in space, this year they are much better tackler's in space compared to last year.
  21. But Ryle is not better upfront than SK. CC runs the ball in a totally different style than Ryle. CC is QB power, with TE, and a FB lead blocking, this puts a lot of pressure on the defensive front because using the QB as the main runner puts the numbers game in their favor. Ryle is just straight zone blocking only using the 5 OL to block and occasional TE. When the QB does run it is usually on scrambles or very short yardage. If Ryle depends on their QB running the ball....blow out!
  22. SK will dominate this game upfront on both sides of the ball. Last years Ryle OL/DL was better and matched up better vs SK lines but this year is a lot different. Ryle will not be able to run the ball against SK's base defense but the problem is that their DC will go blitz a rama at times and will get burnt a couple of times. SK will have to grind it out and get the occasional home run from Powell. Ryle defensively tends to be where they should be and when they should be there, not many mental breakdowns, which limits big plays. What SK really lacks is a dynamic player on offense that can make people miss. No, I do not think Powell is a make you miss type athlete, he is fast and is good about getting North and South and turning it on, but he is not going to juke anyone(once in awhile, maybe). Because of this SK needs to execute properly across the board to get the big play. Some teams have a player or two that can make a couple of people miss in the open field and take it to the house. I don't think SK has that type of a player and at the same time I do not think Ryle does either. Because of the advantage upfront that I think SK has, I will say SK 31-13.
