Sergeant Major Speaks Out On Women In Combat
doubledeuce replied to theguru's topic in Controversial Issues
The "D" word.....diversity.... And we have asked the same question? They lowered the initial score for the physical assessment to hire in, so it doesn't surprise anyone that they struggle with the requirement. Luckily, they are not allowed to alter the OSHA test or there would be separate standards for men and women, like there are in other professions. Probably a matter of time though, before they get around the standard. -

I am a electrical lineman, the last 15 years our company has hired about 20 women for the apprenticeship program and only one has been able to complete it. The one test they almost never pass is called "hurt man rescue," you have to climb a 50ft pole, tie a rope around a 200lb dummy, cut his leather safety strap with one hand while the other hand is holding the rope supporting his weight, and then lower him to the ground, without dropping him or letting him slam the ground in under 4 minutes. Since it is OSHA mandated the company cannot change the parameters of the test, that must be successfully completed every year. -

Criminals are not completely stupid, they tend to target the easiest score and where there will be the least resistance. -
South Carolina Coaching Position

I agree on McElwain, and then you hear how when players come into his office he makes them PB&J sandwiches and will even cut the crust off the bread if that is how they want it....sounds like he should be a pre-school daycare director somewhere. On top of that he looks like Alvin from The Chipmunks. -
The word Rapture is not in the Bible, but Rapture is a term used to describe what happens to Christians at the second coming. However, in 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-17 does state that the events commonly called the Rapture will take place. I have not seen the terms Old Testament or New Testament used in the Bible either, but they are terms used to group a collection together.

For me, religion is man's attempt at understanding God. Maybe the Rapture is when our universe merges with a "parallel" universe....

I don't think he was tearing anybody down, I think he was building his guy up. -

I guess they can call any side they choose the "home" fans side. Does not mean that is where the SK fans will sit. -
Please stop, teams do not play man to man against running teams. You play man to man, you get ZERO run support from the secondary. Most teams like to play Cover 2 vs run teams.

Uh, 7 in the box means they are probably playing 2 deep and 3 deep means they have more than likely 8 in the box.

Interesting, I think UK ran the ball right at 60% of the time on first down.

Maybe so on five years but it doesn't take five years to see a trend. Plus, he was already on staff and new the ins and outs of the program from top to bottom. Being the coach in waiting he was able to "talk" to other coaches about positions when he actually took the job and new the changes he would like to make. Joker had a lot more positives on his side when he took over but he chose to urinate it all away.

How Many Of The Current Recruits Will Decommit?
doubledeuce replied to Bluto's topic in College Football
The budget is extra money spent on hotels and trips. The latest report I could find is that the UK recruiting budget was average in the SEC. -
I know I watched all those guys getting introduced and seen them come out and give Stoops a man hug.....Towles did not come out for that ceremony. Towles was not standing there holding a framed jersey when they played "My 'Ol Kentucky Home."

Was he announced during the Senior Day activities? I don't remember seeing him announced but I may have missed it.
