I would be very suprised to see Hill quit football.

1. Since when did Brett Sutton swim? 2. Farris from Boone will be the best 3 sport athlete out of any of these guys. This is no knock on any of the others, but Farris is ridiculous and he's only a soph.

CCH was definitely the better team in this game. Holmes has no depth. Jefferson got two tough calls that gave him his fourth and fifth fouls of the game and that really hurt. I will stick with what I have always said and say that Brandon Brown is a premeire defender (if not the best) in the 9th. Anyone who saw him shut Jefferson down at the end of the first quarter should be able to attest to that.

Hopefully it's not like either of them since they both resulted in losses.

Bovard is a very good defender. However, I'd say Brandon Brown is the best defender on that team. Bovard just gets more attention because he is the better overall player and gets more PT. I'd take both of them on my team. Also, when I saw Hester play, I was very impressed with his D.

Good point. Players did tell me they had trouble at both Rupp and the Cintas Center in past years.

That's a valid point. However, every time I've seen DJ play, which is a good 4 or 5 times, his on court demeanor shows anything but leadership. Too much complaining to the refs and finger-pointing. He does have mass talent though.

You can't make a comparison between Englemon and Jefferson. BE was physically bigger and stronger in high school. Also, while most think of DJ as a basketball player, I would say Englemon was definitely a football prospect over basketball.

I knew DJ was a great athlete but I didn't know he was a football prospect. I think if he's already gotten an offer from UK and is bound to get other football offers, I would start looking in the football direction for college. I think he'd play at a 1-AA school for bball at best. Come to UK, DJ.

Drew Ellison attended St. Agnes grade school and lives in the Ft. Wright area...about a 1 minute drive from CCH. Just a correction. He did, however, play in the Boone County Pee Wee Football League.

O-lineman Zach Spradlin from the Colonels has committed to play at Georgetown College. The Tigersare getting a solid O-lineman and kid in this one...with some nice feet.

Good to see the Colonels can win without TJ putting up 20. Just as a note, Theoldguy, it's Kurt Bovard, not Kirk. Glad to hear he hit a big shot.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that no CCH guys will ever allow girls in the student section. At least I hope...it's tradition. I'll take CCH by 15.
