Who is the best defender in Northern Kentucky? This also includes northern kentucky teams not in the 9th region ( Pendleton, SK, Scott, etc).

I'm sticking with Scruggs in the interior for HC.

There are different types of defenders... There needs to be more clarification... a post defender, an on ball defender, a wing defender... Which one?

Scruggs plays tough in the middle but he in no way could handle Elliott defensively and IMO Elliott would consistently have about 20 and 12 offensively if Scruggs was guarding him.

Josh Keener from Dixie is pretty tough on D

Pg- Duran Jefferson- Holmes

SG- Bovard - CCH

SF- Henderson - Holmes

PF- Scruggs - HC

C- Elliot - Pendelton

Bovard is a very good defender. However, I'd say Brandon Brown is the best defender on that team. Bovard just gets more attention because he is the better overall player and gets more PT. I'd take both of them on my team.

 

Also, when I saw Hester play, I was very impressed with his D.

He didnt seem like a very good defender the night Vories drove around him numerous times. That is only one game though and that is taking nothing away from Duran as he is a tremendous point guard.

Jon Elrod is a very good defender. He is always put on the top notch player. He can guard from a 1 to a 4.

I would take this team hands down for defense. Even on the offensive end they would do damage.
