Maybe 1....

Panthers 22 Braves 21 Coach Borchers goes for two at the end of the game to pull out the victory...

Exactly the point I was going to make!! How many of the voters in the AP Poll actually see teams from other parts of the state play! I think a lot of voters just vote for historically good programs...Which in certain cases it does work out that way...

Madison Central 35-14! What has happened to Dunbar???

I really wish things would have worked out for all parties concerned here, but it didn't, so it is time for all to move on!! Good luck to Coach Yeagle and to the Juggs! The rest is speculation and hear say...

If Campbell takes care of the football, they win 21-7!

Great Win for the Devils!!! Coach Deaton and the Devils keep it rolling!!!

Big win for the Freshmen Cats!!! Congratulations to the team, Coach Picirillo, and his staff! Newport has a lot to look forward to in the next couple of years!!! Keep up the good work boys!!!!

Jack Haskins - Lone Oak 4-0 Mike Griffiths - Green Co 5-0 Mike Holcomb - Breathitt Co 5-0 Zach Deaton - Dayton 4-1

Newport 21 Lloyd 14 The Wildcats give Coach Hyder his first win!!!

Camels should win this one in a big way!! I'm going to say CC 28 Conner 7

Dunbar's facility situation is no different than many schools across the state! In fact, I am sure there are several schools that wish they had 2 hours on a field like Dunbar's. As far as talent vs coaching goes, it takes players to win especially at the 6A level! I have not seen Dunbar play so I can't state an educated opinion on the matter, but I just can't imagine that they don't have some talent walking the halls of a school that size in Lexington! Where are the athletes?

I hope Trimble realizes what a good coach they have in Johnny Poynter...He has really transformed that program into a contender in his short time there!!! Congratulations to Coach Poynter and the Raiders on another Victory!!

13 Turnovers in 3 games!!! That is hard to overcome, but if the Wildcats hold on to that ball and play good defense like they did against Bellevue and Whitley Co, they will string together some wins!!!

Silver Shadow agrees with Fair or Foul imagine that.. I'll have to agree that BG Green seems eager to make Camel faithful eat crow and it gets old, even from a non-partisan fan!!! However, Camel fans show class by not taking shots at the Mustang football team even though it would be very easy to do at this point.....Can't we all just get along...

Sounds like the Wildcats played much better this week! I'd like to see them 2-1 going into the bye week instead of 0-3, but the big games start in 2 weeks with district play!! I know they'll be ready for the Juggs!!!

Was this a close game? Could somebody that went to the game post some Info?

Not only is Mercer now bumped up into the class where they belong, but they also lost a ton with last year's class...Welcome back to reality boys!!!

Running Clock in the 3rd Quarter! Camels by as many as they want....

When people start talking about players running 4.4, they definitely lose some credibillity! I don't think they have a clue how fast that actually is! Oh well, back to the topic: Beechwood wins this game with or without Yeagle on the sideline for Lloyd! That Lloyd Defense has to get better for me to pick them against a team like Beechwood!

The Wildcats had a tough loss versus Bellevue, but I believe the hard-working consistent players like Herald, Deiters, Wilson, among others will get things squared away and be ready to buckle them up for the Raiders on Friday! Bellevue's scoring drives were 1 yard and 20 yards so don't think that stingy Defense is going to lay down and roll over for Ryle!

Didn't Scott give up 57 points to Anderson County? Last I checked they aren't a juggernaut in Central Ky....Coach Deaton has the boys in Green believing! I'll take Dayton 28-14.

I'm a little surprised that a Mike Yeagle coached team gave up 44 points, I'm sure they will hear quite a bit about that this week in practice!!!

Congratulations to Coach Deaton and the Dayton Greendevils!!! The hard work that we have been hearing about is definitely paying dividends...It's pretty impressive when you can overcome 4 INT's and still pull out the victory in the 4th quarter! One the other hand, I hope the Bulldogs can learn to finish because it doesn't get any easier for them the rest of the way!!!

Coach Eckstein will have his players ready, but I do believe that Newport defense will be too much for the Tigers in the long run!! With both teams focusing on the run game, the clock will be ticking fast and furious. I'm going to say that the Wildcats win this one 28-7! It would be great to see Coach Hyder get the Gatorade treatment for his First victory in the season opener at the Newport Bowl!!
