Mercer had 0 offense tonight, we will have to mix it up, if we are going to compete in 5A.

I realize this is just a stumbling block, but it does prove that Mercer county is human. I know Lincoln County is a good team and their deserve their due, but Mercer will also bounce back.

Mercer didn't have a great deal of offense against Russell County and really struggled last week against Greeneville. Bottom line, the athletes just aren't there like last season. They'll struggle to score points all season, but I still think this team will be a tough out in the postseason.

Welcome to 5-A It's a little different playing in the class you belong in. I still predict that Mercer will not win half their games against 5-A opponents.

Not only is Mercer now bumped up into the class where they belong, but they also lost a ton with last year's class...Welcome back to reality boys!!!

Definitely a signature win for the Pats. Two solid W's in a row.

Its not as easy playing in a class that you belong in compared to playing schools half your size. I believe everyone outside of Mercer expected this one.

The cheap shots being taken at Mercer in this thread are stale and devoid of class and sportsmanship. The Titans lost to a good team. That's about it.
