Halfway (for most) Point . . . Coach of the Year??

Most teams in KY have played their fifth game. . . (For obvious reasons I will not vote for myself! LOL )

 

What coach(s) would you give a Coach of Year vote to at this point in the season?? Two come to mind for me:

 

1. Curtis Higgins - Fern Creek

2. Scott Carmony - Jeffersontown

 

**Both these guys are doing a great job with what they have.

Breathitt Co. Mike Holcomb, Bell Co. Dudley Hilton ,Higgins Fern Creek are just a few ...Lot more deserving dont you think at this point in season....

Totally agree, Coach Hilliard has his team in the driver's seat to about anywhere they want to go.

With the turn around that he has made with that program he has to be a front runner.

Ivan McGlone, Russell.

 

He has one returning starter defensively and three offensively from last year's state runner up program and is currently 5-0. With the past two years success for Russell (state championship and runner up), people think success should be a given. However, this is a small, 3A school where athletes don't grow on trees. Also, the one's that lead the previous success are all gone. The success of the program this year is due to his coaching ability.

How about Tim Browning at Gallatin County...2nd year for the Varsity program, 4-1...has beaten both connecting county rivals, only loss was to Franklfort...who is outstanding!

3. Don't put down his coaches. If you are constantly bad-mouthing your son's coaches, you are teaching him to be a loser and a complainer. This is not what you want him to become.

Jack Haskins Lone Oak. He pulled a Lazarus with the Lone Oak football program 4 years ago (raised the dead).
