In 5-A, I don't see Pulaski as much of a sleeper as I do Southwestern.

Georgia-45 Hawaii-41 I believe this will be the best BCS bowl game of the bunch.

#5 LSU vs #14 Tennessee SEC Championship

I think there is a slim chance. As long as there is ANY chance those boys will have to play like it. -
#5 LSU vs #14 Tennessee SEC Championship

LSU-35 UT-17 LSU will be playing for a shot at the national championship. Hopefully the Miles rumors will not affect them. I'm rooting for the Vols, but I feel the above score is very likely. -
He and Alleva are golfing buddies and work on several charities together. Calm down everyone. Spurrier may leave SC, but only for another SEC team.

They need to trade him and get whatever they can get for him. Did you see him last night? Not exactly a contributer. Nor do I expect him to be.

Redskins Safety Sean Taylor dead
Rowdy replied to Aiden Seamus's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Prayers for his family. I would look for an arrest in this matter soon. I heard on the radio this morning that team members were saying that this incident was a retaliation to Taylor. That sounds to me like this was expected and some folks already have some suspects in mind. It's a real shame as others have mentioned Taylor seemed to be rising from his past. -
Also if the MVP was more MVA, Most Valuable Asset it would be a toss-up GB's defense or Favre.
-
My vote (if I had one) would go to Favre, because he's worked harder at the success at GB more so than any other 1 person on any other team. I don't discount that GB's defense has went a long way to support their 10-1 season, but I consider a players total impact on a team i.e. performance, mental support. Favre lifts his team up mentally and physically. I don't see that in Brady because he doesn't have to, not that he couldn't he just doesn't have to with all the veterans around him.

I for one thought it was a great game. Worst field conditions I've ever seen but that's what football is all about. Who wants to see football on carpet or indoors in perfect conditions where the players don't even get dirty. Now I would definately fire the groundskeeper, but I certainly wouldn't re-schedule a game for unsavory field conditions. That's like saying our QB's aren't 100% this week let's wait till they feel better. Or it's too cold/hot to play today. This was football played the way it should be. The team that wins not only beats the opponent but also the conditions.

Somerset-63 Cawood-17 Tough time for Cawood to play the Jumpers. SHS has an explosive offense and a chip on their shoulders after the loss to Corbin.

I agree as mentioned before BC is not a #2 team. I also don't believe Vt is a top ten team. The way VT's offense played last night a REAL #2 team would have obliterated them. Ryan is a good QB but didn't show it until the last 4 min. He may deserve to be in the running for the Heisman but definately not deserving of winning it, and playing good for 4 min. of a game doesn't make you a Heisman candidate much less a winner. I say Tebow or Woodson should get the Heisman.
