PT needs a lot of work. - Henderson is better than most people think.

His face is forced. I have seen that look before in high school sports, and while it looks mean, it is not the look that I look for. The look that is killer is much more blank with a less extreme facial expression. You know, the ones that don’t need to make a face to look mean because it's just who they are.

No way Henderson comes close in that one.

Who has East beaten, and what is their combined record. I want to know who that good 1A team is? "East has beaten a very good 1A team"

Throw the Castle game out the window: -4 turnovers including in the endzone and two ints returned close to the goal line, 6 guys out most the second half including top two running backs and many of those players went both ways, practicing indoors, and everything else before the season. Evansville North had a 30 + point lead on Castle at halftime last week. North (Christian type speed/plus very big lines) is the best team we will play outside of MO in the regular season. That does not mean we will win all the games outside MO because we won't, but it does mean this young team can be ready by the playoffs.

??? Help those of us outside the loop on BG. The injury situation or they are just getting things going after a couple of games or both?

Evansville Mater Dei? If you think their at Male's level, your are about 35-45 points off most years. Mater Dei lost to Evansville Central by 9 last week. Central is good this season, but many years Central would be no better than 2 or 3 other teams in Evansville. Mater Dei is great in their class, but to put them in the same sentence as Male is a complete joke. Evansille football is better than west Ky football in general but it is somewhere way below Louisville football.

It is not an upset in my mind. Senior had a lot of talent coming back and Catholic seems to be a bit down.

How many players does CC have coming back on off/def?

Is BG banged up? If so CC will be right with them. Tandy will put CC in the endzone more than once no matter how good BGs D is. It does not matter what they did against X because this is a speed on speed game. Tandy is one of the best QBs BG will see. BG 21 CC 20

From what I hear, Henderson was every bit as good as Castle. The yardage was even with Henderson's best RBs and many defensive players out most of the second half. Maybe someone can talk about this who was there, but I heard Lightfoot in one of the first plays from scrimmage in the 2nd half fumbled in the endzone when he cramped up. He never returned. The two INTs resulted in quick scores that happened when Henderson had to throw the ball at the end. Thats 21 points right there. To believe this team is the 2000 cols is a mistake even if they are way down. Duffer never keeps the stable full even with the size of the school. For instance, when we lose 2 rbs, 1 TE, and 1 OL, we lose two CBs, 1LB and 1 DL plus 2 return men too. From what I gathered 5 or 6 guys had to be stretched on the field at the beginning of the 3rd (some more than once with severe cramping), and a few other limped off the field several times. It sounded like an impossible mess. However, North is pretty good this year, and your score might be correct. Heck, North is better than Castle according to some. In week 3 or 4, I would expect to see a changes for the better. With no major injuries, I expect Henderson to make the playoffs.

Henderson is way down. I heard players were dropping like flys for Henderson.

Money team!!! Are they the real champs? They have an advantage that is a fact. Whether or not it is fair I am not sure, but I am not impressed one bit whenever a Catholic school wins and I am Catholic!!!!. They are stained and it will never be the same. What does God say? What is a JV team? I am from Henderson and I am not sure what that is?

Dfire, it was a good season, and I know how you guys feel. I am not sure if it is fair, but it is at least another set of rules and a uneven playing field.

I will pull against all of these teams. And Ox, Star Wars is your game. You guys looked scared on here this season. No one can keep power forever, and your turn will come. You are also so cocky, I usually try to stay away from your threads. :cool:Whatever.
