There are exceptions such as the break away, I might be able to let that go. But if he dribble to much I don't think of it as an assist. The KHSAA needs to give statiscians clear cut rules to go by each game and make them know the rules. So all teams are playing by the same rules.

Faust usually win games he should. The X factor is Penick, if he decides to take over could be interesting game.

I don't agree that CCH has had the best backcourt. I'll take Holmes.

I agree with you here. Everyone uses different rules. I've always used if the person making the pass gets rewarded if the shooter makes a basket with using less then two basketball moves. So 2 steps, 2 dribbles, and what not.

Yes, I remeber a year ago on this site trying to give Frey credit and many public school supporters scorned me as if I was speaking blashphemy of Steidel. There is a reason the first tourney was held at HC, and its not because of the top notch facility.

I am glad in the article Frey got his proper due as did HC on helping start this tourney. To many public school people want to give all the credit to Steidel, he played a major role, but so did Frey and he deserves some credit, that some people don't want to give.

HC gets no respect

Except for the fact his best two players aren't from his district.

Bottom line a big man for CCH has to play more physical than they have shown all year and Timmy T has to come ready to play like the HC game. Jacobs will get his just by the style of D Holmes plays.

I think HC would be a pretty sweet job with new facility and a pretty good talent base with the grade school programs just being in place for a couple years. It takes time to reach certain levels. Since HC has made its program a district contender it has only lost one game in district outside of NCC and Beechwood. Ludlow one year after they graduated basically their whole team. I think HC will continue to seperate it self from the bottom half and inch closer to the big 2.

Rice should be fine, but Jefferson is no guarntee yet.

I don't think districts will be played there. But you can almost guarntee the 9th region tourney will have a new home there. There is rumblings the northern 10th region teams are going to push for it be atleast a rotating venuce for their tourney also.

I've seen them play twice and thought they were as good talent wise as any team outside of Holmes. From people I know, who have seen them play in past 2 weeks, they've told Dixie shooting ability has finally shown up, that is a scary thing for 9th region oppenents.

People are mad i posted that but there were false rumors flying around so I finally posted the truth to end them. I hope people who read that understand it was posted positively, everyone knows DJ is a bright kid and his mom was just look out for his best interest.

2002 at HC year after I graduated it was arguable the intramural allstars had more talent than the varsity squad.

Scott has to ride Howard to have a shot. Holmes loses there cool against physical big men like Howard. You can't beat them on the perimeter, but you can in the paint.

HC and Dixie are good teams my man. Rooting for Holmes because HC matches up better with CCH.

Someone go back and look what I said about this game 2 months ago. I said the top teams in KY always compete with the top tier teams Nationwide. Ky teams just play good basketball.

This is the very reason why Dixie will struggle against Holmes. Dixie won't have any mismatches on the floor.

The guy who was doing KR sports at Holmes/HC game was the parent of HC student and alumni.

HC has intramurals.

Jefferson's mom gave him an in house suspension on grades. He met school standards but not Mom's. Plain and simple. Everyone should applaud Mrs. Jefferson.

Its very simple if some of these bordering counties want to be considered in the papers make your voice heard. If there is a large number of subscribers in your counties and everyone speaks up trust me the papers will listen to the almighty $.

But would the front court like to rematch Scruggs bows. :fight:

I'd be happy with that :dancingpa
