  1. That was a question I had on Holmes to going into the season. I've watched them play 4 times this season. Edmonson,Hill, and Rice are all good shooters. With Henderson in average shooter right now. NKYBOY and myself have both stated if Henderson is able to get a 3point shot this off season he will be one of the best this regions seen.
  2. I'll disagree. He might of not had his best game. But in the 5/3 in Lexington Rice was man amongst boys. I don't know many people in NKY outside of TJ with as soft as touch as Rice.
  3. I was told Henderson and Rice each dunked in first half. O well.
  4. I heard Holmes pre-game dunk line was at its best tonight. I heard Hendersons dunk in the game was pretty nice.
  5. ?????? Possibly the 3 best teams were on the otherside?
  6. I heard one big key to the game was when Henely switched Henderson on Jacobs and took Hill off. I wouldn't say CCH is in a whole different league over HC,Dixie, and Beechwood, when they had hard fought battles in each. Jefferson playing with one eye probably factored in a little this game. Key to game is BJ Avery is back once his back in the swing of things Holmes is a better team.
  7. CCH down 8 not sure time
  8. There saying on radio Jefferson is playing and can only see out of one eye
  9. Finally found my headphones. CCH dominated the rebounding in 3rd quarter.
  10. So far its looking like what people have been saying Holmes is that much better than everyone else this year in the 9th. Beechwood game still don't count since Holmes was shorthanded.
  11. Jefferson still hurt?
  12. Love to listen, but I'm at work. I would have been at the game.
  13. I've coach Alex since a young age. But his baseball class at HC is one of the better ones they have had in awhile, Alex is lucky if he gets on varsity.
  14. All I got is 7 minutes left in first half, 19-15 Holmes. Jefferson got hurt early and hasn't been back since.
  15. Romes Jacob Henderon Jefferson Vorihees
  16. I don't why will football being any different than any other sport? The talent levels are just different. Ludlow has it runs for a couple years in a few sports. But the law averages says HC athletic programs beat them a majority of the time. Its a fact.
  17. Considering HC returns almost everyone of importance I doubt that.
  18. Pre-season polls ranked him that way.
  19. Talk on the foul trouble you want. The offense runs around Bueter penetration and Keirnans low post position. NCC is beatalbe by St.Henry regardless of the foul situation. Keep a hand in the shooters faces, and I see no reason St. Henry can't win. Kiernan needs a big game, he hasn't had one in awhile. When I watched him, he has all tools, but he seems timid.
  20. Effort. Bottom line and the amount of time coaches teach defense. Teams like Holmes will still practice defense but they want to run you out of the gym so the coach put an emphasis on that. But teams like say Holy Cross, NCC, or Bishop Brossart during the Willie era. Those programs are usually not overly talented (except recently at BB), but all those schools are known for great defense because of the style put in place by their coaches. Being great friends with kids who played in NCC program and playing in the HC program, and after talking ot kids at other programs. You would be surprised in the difference in the amount of time focused on defense. I'm talking 3 on 3 drills, half court drills, all type of drills broken down in segments of the court. That is why lesser talented teams seem to compete.
  21. I was thinking the same thing. The only thing BEN G will do if he plays the mind game with Greg Rice is cause a riot.
  22. Holmes has a huge fan following this year. It actually shocked me at all the games I've been to. The game might not sell out, because of Holmes size. But then again it might because of all the casual HS basketball fans who are going to attend.
  23. If St.Henry ever did get a football program that would greatly hurt there stronghold on cross country. At Holy Cross its no secret that Basketball is the number one sport. Mainly because most alumni don't feel associated with the football team, because its so new. Alot of people feel as if the whole football program has formed its own little new group inside of HC. But mainly until HC football wins something they will always be behind basketball, they might even be behind baseball and soccer at HC right now also.
  24. The drainage system and the whole flooding situation to my understand has been the major part in how long it has taken to develop this facility. They don't want to rush anything. Trust me Cshs the city and HC has put to much into this facility not to finish up and get the proper parking. Its all in the works.
  25. RP I have a question for you. All I hear about is how great the Trinity RB was that season. But if Shaun played for you all, how good do you think Trinity would have been?
