Should Pendleton Co. be considered a NKY team?
Scott being in the 10th is the biggest joke ever, but Coach Carr had to do what had to do to stay out of the 35th district.

Should Pendleton Co. be considered a NKY team?
I'll say yes. Just never had to think about it because they were bad for so long.

I've heard rumors both the JV and freshman tourney moving in the next couple years.

Enquirer NKY Poll
I just wish they would jsut get it straight. Right now Pendelton is 6th behind Holy Cross, but I also think Holy Cross should be ahead of Brossart right now.

I agree if you don't come to play you will get beat. I still think if I had to put money on it I expect a repeat of NCC vs HC in finals.

Pendleton County vs. Bishop Brossart @ Thomas More College?
I don't blame Brossart Home Court advantage. I'm sure alot of people in the 35th are ticked about the districts at Holy Cross.

Newport is athletic enough, and if Keirnan gets hot they both could beat HC. But as of right now you have to give HC the edge because of precedent.

Holmes at Beechwood 1/20/06 Predictions!!
He acutally usually guards the other teams PF, even though he is a guard. His athletic ability helps him guard about anyone on the floor.

9th Region All A
LOL HC has already beaten both Newport and NCC.

Not saying they can't win it, but who has Beechwood beaten to be favorite over HC?

Holmes at Beechwood 1/20/06 Predictions!!
After thinking about it, it will be Henderson or Hill. They wouldn't put Rice on him, he get in foul trouble to much.

Holy Cross has the hardest route. But I still like their chances. After beating NCC, they should be atleast the favorite.

Actually if you watched both teams play this year it shouldn't shock you. NCC will get beat by 20 to Holmes its all about matchups. PC has a huge frotnline. NCC plays 4 guards and a good center. NCC could match PC and their center. PC had a problem guarding the 4 guards because they really don't have 4 quality perimeter players. I think this is a blue print if you want to compete. After watching NCC play Holy Cross a couple of us watching said Heil could be an X factor because PC's PF is going to have to come out and guard him. But I don't know who played well for either team, I just know this isn't as big as surprise as one might think.

Holmes at Beechwood 1/20/06 Predictions!!
Holmes won't guard him any different. I bet any Jefferson or Henderson guards him. They will play their same defense, Holmes does not change game plan for one player. So Romes will have his chance to shine. I just don't think Beechwood style of play will fair well against Holmes, Holmes names the score.

Fresh ball is weird this year. HHS beat CCH. HC blows HHS away, and then CCH beat HC.

Timmy did not play out of his mind. But he is no way a 20ppg player. But he did what he had to do to win. Thats what good players do. I think its hard to make a statement like Porter did. I doubt HC hold Jacobs to 5 points again if they meet each other again. I also doubt Steeken goes 1-10 from the field. I think if these teams play each other 10 times there are different out comes and different scenarios on how they get their each time.

I think HC jv team was the better team. But I don't think your point if they wouldn't have made a big deal about the block it wouldn't have been called. If the ref made the call on a vendetta that is a problem. But I no doubt they probably went to far. But you have coached as have I, we all have been there. But you learn to control it. I think I've been known to break a clipboard or two.

If there is one thing HC coaches are known for that is emotional tyraids. Why change a tradition . Maybe at that point the coaches felt a point needed to be proven. I think these are the two premeir JV teams in the 9th and probably will met up in the JV tourney at the end of the year.

When you have a player like TJ you have to take that risk. I would rather have everyone else beat me than the one player who has proven all season he will beat you if you let him. Tim T did what he had to do. Now HC job is to figure out a way to still limit TJ but also fluster Timmy T. Which I'm guessing will be a switch of defender.

For number 7 on your list HSSB, I will say by Districts Eifert will be filling some of that role.

If Edomonson continues to shoot like he did against Campbell there aren't many teams in the state who can beat Holmes. Including a few of the teams that already beat them. They have been missing that outside shot all year.

I agree with all the above. Yes it was Liable. Senior guard finally getting his due playing time. These last 2 years have just been heartbreakers playing CCH. Beating CCH is almost becoming like it was for Boston to beat the Yankee's. Even if we have the team to do it and have every oppurtunity to do so we can't finish. I just hope this group gets another shot.

Holmes 71 Campbell Co. 58
I believe Rice and Jefferson were sick. The other were disciplinary but I could be wrong.

Cov Cath 62 Holy Cross 56
This may be true, but when a team has a gameplan like HC did tonight it makes it easier for the other players to play well. Teams like Holmes won't focus entirley on one player like HC did. So it will make it harder for CCH role players to step it up. CCH players did what they had to do to win and you have to applaud them. HC followed their game plan to take TJ out of the game and CCH adjusted.

Campbell/Holmes score?
Maybe bad source dunno. He called me after game to let me know. Don't know why he would lie. I never though Camels were that good. I knew Jefferson wasn't playing the rest surprised me.
