This was an exciting game yesterday night. (So exciting Ihad to go home and go directly to bed *LOL*) But Estill has a team full of talent and I wish them the best against Powell. I spotted Powell's coach in the crowd Mr. Dixon is 100% a class act off and on the court and one heck of a ballplayer. I wish him well the rest of this season and throughout his career. Congratulations to the Bobcats and to the Engineers. It's been a great innauguaral season for the Engineers and I'm sure Estill will continue to be tough. They have one of the toughest jv teams I've seen.

Unfortunately I don't think it will be on the radio :( I wish the Bobcats had their own radio station like the Owls But such is life.

Speaking of Riverside, I had a friend that played for Lee County while I was in school. He was running for a loose ball and ran right into the wall and was knocked UNCONSIOUS. He layed there for about 5 minutes. It was scary, but he was fine.

We all know the advantage private schools have. Recruiting. They are able to send out pamphlets and able to "recruit." No way to deny it.

Lee is coming off a bad performance and loss in the All A state while Estill has won their last couple of games. The Bobcats are undefeated at home this year. What do you think will happen in this game? I look for a good game for the Bobcats. They should win by 5.

Wow. LCC is a tough team, sounds like JBS played them well. I gotta say, I love these close games ... it's so exciting to watch and really demonstrates how close the fourteenth is this year. I hope the young player's knee is okay and that he comes out of surgery alright. He's in my thoughts. I always hate to see a kid get injured.

I don't have a problem throwing your trophy away, but do it at home. Don't make it a protest. When you throw all the trophies away, that just puts your team in a bad light, warranted or not.

Yeah, wonder where the Owls were on the defensive glass tonight. Seemed like every other shot was put back by Powell.

Powell wins this game and secures 3rd place in the district. Owsley falls to 4-15 on the year and will be seeded last in the district. This was a good game to listen to. I wasn't there but on the radio they were saying that it was not a good shooting night for the Owls. I do know that Robert Smith hit several free throws. But it seemed that the big fella from Powell was too much down low. Would love to hear from someone at the game.

Sounded like a good game

When we played at Powell, it was one of the BEST officiated games I have ever seen. I don't think its much of a factor. And I don't say this because we won. Even when we were down 13 or so in the second half, I looked at the person next to me and commented on how well the offiicials were controling the game.

Yeah, it was a great site. We love our Bobcats and hate to see them lose, but we are not down on them. They still have the big regional trophy in the case and are still one of the best teams in the region. GO CATS!

I'm going to pick Estill, but since my predictions are almost always wrong, if I were a betting person I'd put my money on Hazard

It was funny we talked about that on the way home - it seems we have nights where one or two players will shine while others play decently, but whenever one player has an off night, it seems everyone else has an off night as well. But that's what makes basketball basketball.

I agree, all the credit and hats off to Brossart for taking Lee out of their typical offense. Lee simply did not play well, but that should rightfully be attributed to Brossarts defense. My 'cats got beat pure and simple. However, I think this will be a learning experience, and I don't think this in any way signals the end of the great play we've seen from Lee County. One loss (just as one win) no matter how big or small, doesn't make a season. Best of luck to the Mustangs who are a great team and deserve much kudos for their victory! While I'm sure today will be spent licking our wonds, the Bobcats can't afford to lay around too long. We gotta play a big game on Monday against a great Estill team.

I'll pick Jackson City, though Fleming is a tough team.
