Congratulations to the Mustangs who simply outplayed Lee County last night on the floor. The Bobcat's inexperience in the tournament seemed to show through last night and the Mustangs were definately the better team on the floor that night. The score did seem to get stuck on 23 - 17 but Lee Co just couldn't convert when it mattered. Good Luck to the Mustangs. And I'm still proud of the 'Cats for making it that far!

The Engineers are on a roll aren't they? Perhaps Estill's coach could give Pitino some tips on how to adjust when you switch conferences/districts.

Read above post. You cannot lift your pivot foot only and therefore switch pivots. That is a violation.

I may be misunderstanding why you are saying. But if you have established a pivot foot, and then lift that pivot foot and not the other foot, that is an automatic violation because you switched pivots. You may jump and have both feet leave the floor but you can not shuffle your feet and maintain the same position. I know that is correct but I may have misunderstood the question. Sorry.

True, but if the other foot is left on the ground when moving the pivot, the pivot foot changes, constituting a violation.

Check your rule book again. Do you have the 2005-06 edition? A few things are a little different this year. Later on, I will post the page number and exact wording. And I never said there didn't have to be contact. Thats pretty much a given. :fire: :fire:

This district will be very fun to watch. Its so funny becuase we seed and it really makes it more enjoyable IMO.

Riverside has a pretty bad gym. Buckhorn could use a new one. And Estill has a nice gym, just a ugly floor. Slick too.

This should be a good game. I love district games because they always are for something. This game is to decide 3rd and 4th in the district i believe.

Well, if the ball is still in his hands when a pivot is lifted completely up then its a walk. Here's an intesting note. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be traveling while maintaing a dribble. You can jump and run and scoot as long as you maintain dribble.

LCA shot a CRAZY amount of 3 pointers. WOW! They had the lead with about 15 seconds to go too.

When you go over top of another player, its a foul. Nothing wrong with fighting for rebounds but you can't disrupt someones position. They have the spot and they spot they controll is from the floor to the ceiling. Thats the rule. If you go over the back, you illegaly take a spot they had position in. The 3 second count is suspended when a drive to the basket is made. If no attempt is made, and the player is still in the lane, 3 seconds should be called.
