Rock defense playing well. Kept IC out of the end zone late in half as they went for it on 4th down (several plays inside the 10). Reggie putting up some nice passing and rushing numbers and has 2 of the TDs.

So many silly mistakes still being made. They are magnified when you are playing tough teams. Why did Reggie not start? Illness?

"Putting it on Fairdale" is not a confidence builder... maybe a false confidence builder. Why was this game scheduled?

Over 400 yards of offense, Brooks over 100 yards and Ott over 100 rec yards. All good. Agree that special teams have not been so special. Defense front 4 did well but DBS need more work. Still a win over a good team is always a good feeling. Good job Rocks!

I apologize for the thread-jacking... couldn't help but stir the pot. Travis signed with FIU. I have not seen his grandfather in a while, not sure how that is working out. My serious answer to this thread's question would be Towles.

That win puts Coach W ahead of Mike Glaser's pace. Glaser lost his first game as Tiger head coach to Southern way back when. A 6-2 lead over Ballard at halftime made me think it was a soccer game... but the final spread was more like we all thought. Still a lot of yards racked up by Ballard. This week again the team will not be challenged much. It's just hard to tell how good the Tigers are until they play somebody. I'm hoping for at least 10 passes this week. Is that too much to ask?

Love the Colts but John Hardin is a tough cookie and will win this 28-9.

I appreciate the love for the Rocks from the pollsters, but at this point those numbers are not warranted. When X blasts BG in a few weeks that ranking will fade away for them. St. X will prove their worth down the road when they play tougher teams. Thanks for doing this though.. gives us something to chatter about.... By the way, how did T lose and move up???? C'mon man!

Well fans of green, I was hit with the mother of all rumors today from the lips of Poplar Level faithful.... "Did you know Trinity has 2 convicted felons who are members of the crips playing on the team and that a coach is assigned to them daily to escort them around the school?" I found that to be beyond humorous (they were not kidding).... into the category of offensive. Have the seeds of jealousy grown so large that ignorant comments such as that have to be made? and people wonder why I cheer for the Rocks.... I would ask the many good folks at St. X to please stomp out the trash fires on campus that breed this type of garbage.

I assume Mr. Bonnafon is OK. Any injury updates would be appreciated. Possibly some shuffles in the defensive backfield??? I can't imagine they'd have another Ferby in the backfield... hope not anyway! I say the ROCKS bounce back and win 20-14.

More lumps and bumps to come for the ROCKs for sure with the schedule looming. Still I'm OK with learning about the teams weaknesses instead of pounding a local school. The coaches will make season long adjustments and be ready for Phase III when it rolls around. As a side note the Ensworth's running game was spearheaded by their "pulling" center which is quite a talent for that position. I have not seen such skill at doing that since a kid for Trinity did it a few years back. I think his number was #55.

With all due respect to my Xavierian brothers, please don't compare your running game to Ensworth's.

Trinity will take some lumps and bumps this year with the toughest schedule a Kentucky team has ever scheduled. I think they can win this one though. Rocks- 28, first of many state champion opponents- 24. Did I mention the Rocks schedule is awesome?
