  1. Friday Coach B said Quick was day-2-day with cracked ribs. Heard yesterday that Quick was doing some practicing, then saw a local sportscaster tweet last night he is OUT with broken ribs. Who knows???
  2. Collins has been a school for 3 years i think. They had trouble with their new field last year and could not even play home games on it. IMO most of the better players from the Shelby County area switched to Collins when it opened. Collins and Shelby County are rivals.... They are making their tradition in their infancy stage. I think it's great that they made it this far and I'd love to see them shock the 4A world.
  3. HHS may very well win but it is the totally arrogant attitude as shown above that will make me laugh my spleen out if Collins can do it.
  4. Hoping the "No Fear" schedule Central plays pays off for them. Central - 23 Belfry -9.
  5. PRP has accumulated awesome stats, but keep in mind who the opposition was. The only wins PRP has over teams with winning records are 2A DeSales, 3A Central (by 1 point), Butler (twice) and Easern. PRP has seen nothing like what even an "unjelled" Trinity can throw at them. On the other hand, Trinity has seen over the course of the year speed and passing attacks superior to The Ridge. I would like to know how many kids play both ways for PRP... anyone know?
  6. Dude, somebody jacked your BGP account because no sane person would post this. Better check your facebook account too... they may have posted something equally as farfetched there... like Towles would be the UK savior.
  7. Did I hear that Eastern was up 14-0 in this one?
  8. Sounds amazing Congrats Purples! Would love to see the video.
  9. GO CENTRAL!!! Do it again. Bring that bacon to Louisville once more.
  10. I thought the planets had lined up for Scott. Quick was out, Dawkins had a stomach virus, wind messing with passes, good Cardinal defense (to include a pick six early in the 2nd half to build the 14-0 lead). But, Rocks score 3 times in final 7:48 with a pass to Swabek, a T. Wright 3 td run and with 30 seconds left a 57 yard screen pass to Dawkins. DD is amazing... sick as a dog but still had 100+ yards rushing and the game winner. T defense was on their game in the second half. Officiating was the northern Kentucky bumble squad for sure. Coach Beatty gave the crowd some props too for getting behind the guys tonight. Now on to BG to play a team from across town... yeah, that makes sense. No shame for Scott, a great effort.
  11. Good info to know... I'd suggest running that with the printed list because I'm sure 95% of the readers do not know that.
  12. All Tell, you seemed to have forgotten the marquee wins over Fern Creek and Doss! Over all the Tigers had exactly one win over a team with a winning record, that being 3A Central. With all the talent on the team why wouldn't an 8-5 coach be the coach of the year?
  13. I have absolutely no dog in this fight. I don't know any of the players, coaches or teams. From what you have posted I think there is something stinky in the diaper. Unfortunatley, you will never know who ask who to do what and when. It won't happen, but it would be hilarious if Belfry came out in a totally different offense... even if for one series. Ha ha ha.
  14. Looking forward to it. Hope the weather is nice. I have not seen list of players but the coaches are: Head coach for metro Louisville - Kenny Walker, Atherton, and head coach for KY is Jeff Marksberry, Simon Kenton.
  15. I'm hoping Central's QB is back and at full speed. Give me the bumble bees in this one 20 - 16.
  16. Purples made the nations top 25 according to VYPE Magazine. VYPE MAGAZINE - NATIONAL | iHigh.com - The Global Youth Network Sweet!
  17. Common opponents (for what that is worth). T rocked Highlands in a scrimmage and Highlands rolled Scott for their only loss. Scott beat GRC 40-6 and Trinity beat GRC 56-7. Scott whipped Madison Central 41-16 and Trinity just as couple weeks ago beat MC 62-8. Scott has never been afraid to play Trinity so I don't think there is any fear factor there. Even without Quick I'd still give the talent edge to Trinity. The Rock defense better be ready to defend a creative balanced offense. Home field helps Trinity too... so I'll say Trinity- 28 Scott-13.
  18. Well, I was going to say that about the penalty too, but heavin knows anytime I say something negative about X, the sky darkens. I can't believe they didn't pass downfield more, the ends seemed to have some success getting open early on. At least try another trick play or something. And with Trinity... the passing routes all seemed to be down and outs... maybe that is how Cody got open late. I didn't think it was a Picasso by Coverdale, but then as I said in an early post, X had some good defense going.
  19. Any thoughts on the second half offense of the Tigers? Was the T defense that good or was the play calling and execution that poor? I think I read 11 yards total offense and 1 first down (due to a defensive penalty).
