Mayfield wins by 14

At this point there are no more easy opponets left. I like the Cards to be a little to much and win this one by 21

I agree...Cardinals win this one. The margin will be decided by how well our defense can shut down KCD's passing attack. They will have NO answer for Jonathan. I have heard good things about KCD's QB...but I'm telling you, they are going to have to deal with an increasingly effective and impressive QB in Mr. Jake Guhy (pronounced...Guy). He was awesome last week, and would have had better numbers if we didn't fumble after the catch.

Very true24/7 Guhy has been on fire and then there is Jackson who is the best player in class A to do the rest. Jackson will be a problem for KCD

If I were Coach Morris and I won the coin toss, I'd take the ball 1st and try and get on top early and set the stage. A quick score and then a quick stop and another score early could very vell get into the heads of KCD. When you're playing a team who's won 11 of 12 games and are playing at home, they're going to have some confidence they can win, so, imo, Mayfield needs to take the momentum early and put that doubt in there heads. The longer we allow them to stick around, the more there team builds hope, there fans get into it and the tougher it becomes. Once you've gotten a couple of score lead, give them a couple of heavy doses of Mr Jackson and some long, established, chain moving drives that just wears there defense out and keeps there offense off the field. To me, getting on top early is critical and on defense, showing some blitzes that gets there QB out of his normal rythm is equally as important.

Hey Toothpick, Guhy is a stud, is he a junior?

I would say that goes for either team. Mayfield should be very confident about winning this game, but if they come out and blink and are down 14-0 you could wind up shell shocked enough that you don't get going until the 3rd quarter or worse.

Mayfield 49-13.

Yes, Guhy, is a junior

As always, I'm worried about Mayfield giving up a cheap score or two on the long ball. However, after watching Jonathan Jackson simply steamrolling HC and taking the team on his back (even more so than usual) I don't think Mayfield will be seriously theatened... at least in the end. Hoping Mayfield comes out with a couple of early scores and gets a running clock going and maybe get the JV in for a few minutes toward the end. 49-17 Mayfield.

Hoping KCD can stun the world! KCD was playing 8 man football not long ago and has made great strides.
