  1. :thumb: I agree and an excellent basketball game by two teams was played here. A few posters do not deserve to be acknowledged. If someone wants to tear down accomplishments of others in every post they make, Let it be.
  2. I have read throughout this thread a pattern of continuous bashing of the premise. It is reactions like this that make me.................................. proud to be a member of BGP! Nothing positive can come from starting a thread like this one.
  3. I believe he was referring to the statement that Ferguson was dominated. That removes the obvious argument that Elliot was dominated. There have been multiple deceptive, or at least questionable, posts on how well Ferguson personally played against the competition.
  4. Considering Fleming lost to Menifee within the past week, your question and your sarcasm do not seem to complete the puzzle. If Menifee or Bath for that matter is an embarassment to make the region, then I guess that would also have to go for Fleming.
  5. Many have posted on who would pay to see what matchups. I believe that is a clear call for the green to determine who plays.
  6. Excellent point!!!
  7. Why dont we seed all districts and make sure no weak teams make the region. Lets just make it easier than playing scheduled games to seed, since it isnt done in regionals or state, and automatically send the bigger schools to state and bypass the region. People say make the season worth something. I say they are, they are getting their team prepared for postseason. I would like to see the teams that are playing the best basketball now in regions in state. Not the teams that are predestined? to be there.
  8. Regionals and state are not seeded. I see no reason why districts should be seeded except the almighty dollar. You say make the season worth something, they all are, by making their team better prepared for post season. That is what it's all about.
  9. I assume this comment is in jest.
  10. Received a technical on a cheerleader late in a close game that we ended up losing. How many have ever seen that one?
  11. From all that i've tried in Eastern Kentucky, which would be alot judging from my waistline, I'd have to say Menifee followed by Augusta. No others in the ball park with those.
  12. Good post! As of this point in the season however, noone in the sixteenth is even close.
  13. I have alot of respect for coach Kidwell. After hearing this, I realize i did not have enough.
  14. My heart goes out to all involved, terrible tradegy.
  15. Elliott county is getting the respect they have longed for. (see the top 25 thread) It is well deserved respect, I might add.
  16. I would think a little support would be more valuable than incentives to get them to stay. Walking into this situation is like starting on the river in deliverance. Except there is a shotgun instead of a banjo, lol.
  17. It's posted at the school already.
  18. I would love to see Rose Hill poster reactions if an Ashland player would have pulled a stunt like this up 40.
  19. Which do you prefer? Current or all preseason favorites? I prefer the teams that earned the right to play! That's what gives the potential for the "magic" of the sweet 16!
  20. Congratulations on a great career!
  21. Excellent point! The plan would have to include seperation of public and private also, which we have seen is not going to happen.
  22. A very classy post scooterbob!
  23. Impressive list. Doug Smith would have been in a league of his own if we could count him!
