It was a lot better when we at least kept it close :irked: I have been in attendance for the last five of these games. Not sure if I'm going to make it out Friday.

After seeing the Trinity/Henry Clay score there is no way I can pick my Rebels. I've been to one game this year and HC destroyed Boone Co. Prove me wrong Rebels.

Boone is pretty much the class of big ball in NKY year in and year out. Didn't see the game but not surprised at all my the result. Hats off to the Ryle seniors... some of you had great careers.

A veteran QB who has a bunch of W's under his belt. He is dangerous running the ball as well. Raider fans often complain about running the ball too much, but this time they should have just pounded it up the gut four times? I guess it's easy to criticize the play calling because it didn't work. Darned if you do, darned if you don't.

I hear way too much about how Ryle is one dimensional and the play calling is so predictable. You said yourself that Ryle passed the ball well all night. Also, Beinke is a VERY experienced QB.

Farris has been the real deal for a long time now. Boone by 10.

Here's an idea. Get a kicking game. If you feel good about the loss because the kicker should have been there then nevermind, you won't get it.

Looks to me like Ryle went for two at some point to play with the score as well. If that's your logic, it's extremely flawed.

Regardless I don't think you can say they would have won if the kicker(s) had been there. Very solid win for the Raiders.

Clearly some do. Hicks certainly strategically rested his players when he got the chance early on. When you're the favorite, it's a great idea IMO.

Simply put, Mackey wasn't going to let them lose.

Mitch, Tate, and Clay made it for Ryle... sorry I don't know last names only first. I want to say Congrats to Jerry Herron on his first season as Ryle's head coach. He is a great guy and a very good basketball coach... Ryle is lucky to have him.

Ryle shot the ball very poorly. Congrats to the Colonels! Fun game indeed.

The only game I saw better than the Ryle Highlands Semi Finals game was the regular season game with the buzzer shot to win. Not to take credit from the Birds play, but the only downside to that game was Ryle was without one of the Star players...Mitch Mcleish. He was out in 2 of the team's 4 losses this year due to an injury. The other losses were to a very good Louisville Male team and the opening game against Boone Co (Arguably the best frosh team up here). I look for this Championship Game to be battle between two of NKY's power houses. Good Luck Raiders!
