Aric Russel would be a great hire, but I don't know why he'd leave Newport to go to CCHS... My guess is they hire from within, and move Maddy or Enzweiler to head coach...

Brossart has five private schools. The two huge ones are St. Mary and St. Joe's. They graduate about 50 kids from each, and half go to NewCath. THe others are Sts. Peter and Paul, St. Phillip, and St. Joe's Camp Spring, which graduates a WHOPPING 10 kids each... And no, Brossart doesn't draw from any of the CC public middle schools.

By many areas, you mean basically two grade schools that graduate 25 guys a year? That's a common misconception. Brossart's feeder schools just do a good job of developing the grade school players...

Just one more example of why Campbell County will always be a joke, and one more reason why I'll always despise them... Giving Scott Code three years, where he drastically improved the team from Reitz? What a joke. They wonder why no one takes them seriously... Scott Code's a better coach than anyone that will even apply. Selfishly, I hope he ends up back at Brossart this year....

If he is a candidate, Carr is the best one out there. IMHO he is on a much higher level than Coach Sullivan both in experience as well as success. With his ability to instill discipline and teach defense Holmes would continue the tradition of being a tremendously successful program.

The 2004-2005 Covcath squad lost to Brossart at CCH on Senior night. Not sure if we are talking about the same squad but it was the Covcath team led by Votel as a senior and and Brossart led by Mcdole and Smith as Seniors.

The choice would be Carr if it were mine. Already arguably the best coach in N. KY.

Scott did participate in the 10th Region Freshman tournament. They beat Brossart in O.T. to win the district and played Mason Co. first game of the freshman region and lost.
