Now that Coach Code has been let go, who is next for the Camels?

Here is a list of potentials I have heard so far.

Aric Russell - Newport

Chad Simms - Pendleton Co

Brad Carr - Scott

Sean Maddy - Campbell Co Assistant

Carr's name is out there for every potential job opening and rightfully so as he has proven to be a very good coach.

Why would you think he would consider Campbell County again? He interviewed with the same administration when they hired Code and did not get the job. If he had issues with the administration at Scott this past season the administration at Campbell County does not have a track record of supporting the coaches.

Scott would have to be considered the preseason favorite to repeat in the district based on three consecutive district titles. While Scott lost a lot thru graduation everbody else in the district lost more. They have the best player in the district and good young talent.

If he is going to leave Scott it is going to be for a better job and right now Campbell County is not a better job.

I wil predict that no one will apply and the job will get filled within, just like football a few years ago. No one in their right miind will want to come into this mess.

Thanks again Mr Strong

Maybe Reitz will come back he should be restless by now

No way Simms takes that job, Pendleton County is one of the top four jobs in the tenth along with Mason, Clark and Montgomery. Can't see him wanting to take over the reigns at one of the worst jobs in the tenth in Campbell County. Only job I would assume Chad Simms wants is at Mason County High School!

Top four jobs in the tenth:laugh::laugh::laugh:

What school or schools would you replace Pendleton with? I would even consider maybe putting it in the third slot behind Mason and Clark.

Well I would imagine that Scott, Brossart, and Campbell would be up ahead of Pendleton.

My money is on Aric Russell.

I had heard he wanted to get out of coaching period, but that's just a rumor??

Brossart

Scott

Campbell

Montgomery

Bracken

Harrison

Maybe even Deming

Might Willie Schlarman be coaxed out of retirement to put his name in the hat for this job? I doubt it, but might be worth a try. Successful coach that has ties out in the county.

That would be interesting?? Seems pretty happy & content with his new baby boy, but stranger things have happened?? If the Camel faithful complained about Code's "Value Each Possession--Defense First" style; they'd really love "Willie Ball"?? :D

Brossart

Scott

Campbell

Montgomery

Bracken

Harrison

I understand most all on your list but Bracken and Deming? Not with the district that Bracken is in and certainly not seeing Deming.

In no way are the Brossart, Scott and Campbell jobs better than Pendleton County job. Just by fan support alone they would seem to top all three of these schools mentioned above, the Wildcats have great support.
