Brossart plays the "A" teams in the 10th because they like to see them before the All A comes around, IMO. However, a few years ago, they never played the Augusta, Deming, or Bracken's during the regular season. Over the past couple of years, those teams have seen an increase in talent while it may have been considered down years for Brossart. With Brossart back on the upswing, they may change the schedule up next year. Just a hypothesis. With Brossart and St. Pat's being the only two Catholic schools in the 10th, I'd expect them always to be on each other schedules though.

Brossart was playing without their starting point guard, so they must have done a good job filling in for him dealing with the pressure for the most part. Sounds like Saunders may have been the best player on the court... Nice to see Joe step up, if he ends up being a consistently dangerous post presence, Brossart will be extremely dangerous...

I didn't say it was a lot? 58 points for a game isn't stall ball. The pace of play is irrelevant when it comes to wins and losses. Fast or slow, the W is all that matters.

NC showed class which is no surprise. Brossart did as well. Many times in a game like this there are cheapshots by the trailing team and there was none of that last night. As expected both teams went about their business and played hard. It was nice to see the game played and put the silly pregame rants on this site behind both schools.

KJ Brossart is blessed to have Mustang. He is a very happy man and please stop with the hateful comments.

Regarding the game, the Newcath staff has too much class to run it up and has nothing to prove. The true fb players have always looked north, either in Ft. Thomas or Newport.
