Raceland beat Rowan on Rowans home floor.

The seniors will really have to pick it up to make up for all that will be lost by not having Rachel. Rachel is their best rebounder and scores at will in the lane. Seals and Paige will have to pick up the scoring load. Keeton has to stay out of foul trouble and clean the glass.

Put a defender on Sparks and pack in a zone. It may work.

Wow Russell shot a lot of free throws. How many did Raceland Shoot?

I would like to see Raceland play them the same way they played Rose Hill. Pack in a zone and not let Okoro or Fortman beat you inside. Force Russell to the outside and hope they are not hiiting their shots.

Without Vanhoose, Russell will NOT repeat. They won't be able to beat Ashland or Elliott. They may even lose to Lewis in district championship.

The refs from the girls game were on the opposite end of the gym. I doubt they had a good view of the call. The shooter may of had his foot on the line. Thats a violation as is stepping across the line.

All I know is that a Raceland player told me # 3 was running his mouth after being told enough by the ref.

Lady Rams played a solid team game for the win.

They earned their T's. One player threw the ball and hit a Raceland player, the coached got carried away after an elbow was called against their center. The last T was on # 3 for talking smack to a raceland player while he was shooting a free throw. He was warned not be quiet and didnt. I dont have the stats, but i know Raceland made some field goals in the 4th. They shot a lot of free throws because of the T's and Pikeville was fouling and putting them on the line to stop the clock. Was, however, inconsistant officating both ways. Kind of like last year when Raceland went to Pikeville.

I wished they would had stayed as night games. UK plays at 3:00. Guess I'll have to DVR UK .
